New video games no longer cost $60

Added: 11.04.2015 11:18 | 2 views | 0 comments

Adam Kharatian writes, Youve likely read articles in the past filled to the brink with tears of writers desperately pleading for a unanimous boycott of titles featuring paid downloadable content upon release. This isnt one of those. It is simply a summary and analysis of how the standard business model for game releases has changed over the past few years. We wont go into specifics and numbers, but instead explain the general mindset of publishers with the exception of a select few still struggling to fight the delusion of gamers wanting to pay more for games. At this point, $60 is what you pay for bare bones, what was once called a demo.

MonsterVine: "Omega Force, creators of the Dynasty Warriors series, released Toukiden: Age of Demons on the Vita and a year later Kiwami comes out as an expansion to that game. Youre going to see me mention Monster Hunter a lot in this review because Toukiden is as close as you can get to that series without having Capcoms lawyers bang on your door."

Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast Furious review | MMGN

Added: 01.04.2015 8:18 | 5 views | 0 comments

Ben Salter of MMGN: I had a lot of fun playing Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast Furious, because I was returning to the world of Horizon 2 and forgot how much I enjoyed it, not because of the game itself. Its great as a free demo, and if youve got the quota to spare, Id highly recommend it to casual arcade racing fans unlikely to buy the full game theres probably enough here to get your fix. With it all repurposed content, however, its pointless for existing Forza Horizon 2 players, unless you want the Gamerscore or to try the specific cars. Youve already got access to all of this, and much more, in a better package. Fast Furious fans hoping for a fun movie tie-in with the pedigree of Forza will be most disappointed. As a Horizon 2 demo with Furious 7 themed cars, its great. But as a licensed game, its pretty poor, with little to do with Fast Furious and nothing in the way of new content. Depending on when you download, its either a fun free demo, or a disappointing...
