NE:
In a recent podcast, Unseen64s Liam Robertson (known for digging up information on canned games) revealed that ZombiU 2 was in development for a short period back in early 2013. A team of roughly 5-10 staffers worked on the project, which never left pre-production. Robertson said that it likely didnt take long before Ubisoft put their foot down and cancelled plans for the game.
Robertson has seen one image from ZombiU 2 that offered a similar aesthetic as its predecessor. That means players would have been exploring a run-down, zombie apocalypse setting once again hardly surprising!

| (WGB) Zombie Army Trilogy Review Its Nazi Zombies Again
Added: 27.03.2015 4:18 | 28 views | 0 comments
Baden of WGB: "If you dont know what the Sniper Elite series is then its a budget franchise now on its third entry focusing on third-person sniping action. While the latest title, Sniper Elite III, never amazed anyone with its brilliance it was nevertheless a fun title. Previously the first two Sniper Elite games had zombie-based DLC released for them, letting you plant bullets in brains with abandon. Now developers Rebellion have decided to repackage their undead work and launch it as a co-operative focused shooter. Yup, more Nazi zombies. Sheesh."

Neil writes "It seems like its quite simple to make a hit videogame these days. Give us some big guns, a shed load of Zombies and free reign over the massacre and gamers will flock in their numbers. So how does Zombie Army Trilogy stand out from the rest? Well, bringing Adolf Hitler to the table is certainly a draw."

| What Dying Light Gets Right About the Zombie Apocalypse
Added: 26.03.2015 4:18 | 5 views | 0 comments
EB: It seems like every year the entertainment industry gets more and more saturated with zombie apocalypse lore. Movies, music, video games; each venue has multiple options for anyone. With this amount of saturation, the odds are that not all of them are home runs. A select few manage to create experiences that are engaging enough to resonate with people and keep them watching, playing, or reading. World War Z, The Last of Us, The Walking Dead, and now Dying Light; sit atop a sea of mediocre titles as the best of the best. The bar has been set, and theyre the ones that set it. A few key things differentiate these apart from the other fodder.

| Zombie of the Day Trapped Dead: Lockdown Review | GIZORAMA
Added: 26.03.2015 0:18 | 4 views | 0 comments
Johnny Ohm, GIZORAMA - "Its hard to look at the current zombie genre and not think about just how similar the market is to the subject matter: masses of simple, one-track bodies overwhelming the healthy survivors by sheer numbers alone with the sole purpose of robbing victims of their brains and wallets. Rarely does such a convenient analogy come to surface, but it truly feels as if zombie games themselves have fallen victim to the very plague they rant on about in their plots. Trapped Dead: Lockdown, an indie Zombie RPG developed by Bigmoon Studios, is just one of the many rotting corpses perpetuating this putrid parable by drawing out the genres interminable (living) death."
