Review: Onechanbara Z2: Chaos (DarkZero)

Dominic Sheard: "Hey! Hang on a minute! Don't just turn away after clicking the title. You clicked it, so you might as well stay around and see what I have to say on Onechanbara Z2: Chaos, the latest in a series of video games that involves a main female character dressed in a bikini. You would think she is ready to hit the beach and get a tan, but that is not the case with the Onechanbara series, which pits the bikini lady against hordes of the undead, as she pummels them into showers of blood and gore. This is pure B-movie entertainment, stuff that will probably entertain anyone who enjoyed the likes of Tokyo Gore Police, The Machine Girl and Versus those crazy over the top bloodbath action films that have a crap plot, but somehow manage to bring some fun to the viewing. Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is a similar experience, and while the Wii game, Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers, was a poor game with monotonous action, Onechanbara Z2: Chaos brings some actual worthwhile improvements...

Treyarch always goes all out with its Call of Duty games- Infinity Ward may have birthed the modern Call of Duty game, but it has been Treyarch since then, with their Black Ops game, who have kept interest in the franchise alive, by always pushing against the boundaries of what can be expected from a Call of Duty game.

| (WGB) Zombi Review ZombiU Risen From The Dead
Added: 29.08.2015 21:17 | 20 views | 0 comments
Baden of WGB: "Released back in 2012 ZombiU for the WiiU was an attempt to show that Nintendos console wasnt just all about brightly colored plumbers and party games. For Ubisoft, though, the game didnt seem to do well enough with a little under a million copies sold, and thus plans for a sequel were canned. It seems Ubisoft arent quite willing to completely ditch the potential for a series, however. Dropping the U from the name Zombi has arrived on PC, Xbox One and PS4, hoping to make itself known among the many, many horror-based games that are around at the moment, especially on Steam where every second title seems to be a first-person horror/survival title."

| Otakugamers UK Review: Onechanbara ZII Chaos (Ps4)

Andi Otakugamers.UK "Onechanbara, for those not familiar with the series can be summed up with it's Wii release title "Bikini Zombie Slayers". It's B Movie in game form, possessing a cult status with it's fans the series has seen a somewhat spotty release in it's history. Fortunately XSEED NIS have brought over the latest in the series Onechanbara ZII Chaos. The name is just a little random but perfectly suited for the nature of this series."

| Upping the Res, Dropping the U Zombi | CriticalIndieGamer

(CriticalIndieGamer)Before the WiiU launched, Zombiu was hotly tipped to be its first killer app, and whether you agree with that or not, it made a big impact upon its release. Critics and players alike were divided though, with many calling it ugly, slow and repetitive. Much noise was made around its novel use of the gamepad as a map and inventory screen, drawing your eyes away from any lurking zombies approaching on the TV. Yet, even the games harshest critics conceded that there was something special lurking beneath ZombiUs rotting facade. But what is ZombiU without Nintendos unconventional controller? Zombi, as it is now known, plays the same as before but it is, arguably, all the better for having dropped the U from its name.

| Early Access Preview: Zombie Playground | Rely on Horror

Rely on Horror, CJ Melendez writes: "Some of you might be like me and enjoy your fair share of grim and serious zombie fiction, where theres some gritty drama between rival human groups, loads of extreme violence, and lots of gore. But other times you might want to look at some bright colors and feel a bit more upbeat, right. Cartoons were fun, remember? Theres no reason for us to be so mature all the time! And zombie fiction can do with a little levity now and then. Enter Zombie Playground, a whimsical little Steam title where kids battle zombies. Thats the premise and its a simple yet effective one."
