Wait, is that a good thing?.
BioWare are already preparing for the next instalment in the Mass Effect series, and apparently they're worried that fans are expecting another Dragon Age: Inquisition - the developer's most successful launch ever.
A sequel to the meaty melee horror game may be on the cards at last.
Condemned was the game when I received my Xbox 360: a new take on horror that focused on first-person thwacking and occasional investigationy bits. The sequel, Bloodshot, sort of ruined the magic by turning the main character into a foul drunk, but there's enough love around for the series that a third game would be the cause of much rejoicing.
Also a dog. Why can't the actual game be like this?.
Square Enix have been showcasing Final Fantasy XV with fun videos exploring its environments from the perspective of man's four-legged friends (no, not badgers). First, they showed off one of the game's towns from a dog's-eye view, and now they've done the same with a cute little cat.
Beta for patch cancelled, may not be rescheduled.
We can but dream of a functioning Halo: The Master Chief Collection, an embarrassing two-and-a-half months since its release. The game's previous patch was said to help with its matchmaking problems, among other things, but the next one will apparently make the "biggest" changes yet.
Sounds like a just cause for celebration.
Flying! Jumping off stuff! Explosions! Gravity-defying hair! It's all there in these new (but not technically official) screenshots of Just Cause 3.
The first part of Dontnod's choice-based adventure game out now.
Life is Strange is what Remember Me developers Dontnod did next: an episodic, Telltale-style adventure where your choices are promised to have a ripple-down effect on the unfolding story. The first part is out now, and as is the way of things, it's been given a launch trailer explaining what it's all about.
Multiplayer suggestion box battler gets GWG headstart.
#IDARB - it stands for It Draws A Red Box, which I'll explain later - is this month's Xbox One Games with Gold title, a thing we told you about yesterday. However, the indie arcade battler has appeared on the Xbox Store a little earlier than anticipated, and is actually available to download right now. What are you waiting for - go get it.
Test EA's cops and robbers game in advance of March release.
The cop, or 'cawwwp', is the natural enemy of the robber, so can you imagine what would happen if a game put the two of them together? EA and Visceral Games have done the unthinkable with Battlefield Hardline, a silly game of cops and robbers but with explosions, big name actors, and probably a bit in the story where you get betrayed by someone you trusted.
Candy Crush meets giant, toxic fluid-spewing monsters.
Whenever I'm playing a match-three game, I'm normally thinking two things: one, what am I doing with my life, and two, how can I use this to my advantage in the games I actually paid for?
This year's Lego tie-ins revealed.

New video details ninja spirit Aragami's sneaky powers.
Twin Souls is a game to be excited about if you like stealth, ninjas or, surprisingly enough, Portal. The indie sneak-'em-up is coming to Xbox One sometime this year, and developers Lince Works have just released a new video detailing its undead protagonist.
Au, check out these deals. See what I did there?.
February! The month of love/loneliness, being really cold most of the time, and realising you sort of failed every single one of your New Year's resolutions. A good month, you might say. But it's okay! You don't need some chocolate-loving, bed-hogging idiot to keep you warm at night - you need XBOX GAMES.
Vomit-loving lizardman latest fighter to be announced.
The other week, we discovered that Kung Lao and Kitana were returning for Mortal Kombat X, and it's just been announced that another murdery bipedal warrior is set to join them.
Open world zombie-'em-up features cheeky reference to Bungie's shooter.
Techland's Dying Light is out today (sort of, it's a bit confusing), and a keen-eyed Reddit user by the name of ZachyWillz has already found a hidden easter egg.
The Double Fine team watch as a speedrunner breaks their game apart.
If you've not been watching Double Fine's Devs Play series - in which Double Fine examine old games, often with input from their developers - you've really been missing out. There's not been much Xboxy stuff covered so far in the series, but this latest episode covers Double Fine's own Psychonauts, which came out for the original Xbox in 2005.
Titanfall is only #163;10! OMG what a shocker we did not expect that at all.
Another week, another basket full of deals dropped off at our doorsteps by the Xbox Fairies. But what's this? There's a note pinned to the basket... "Take good care of our deals, and please buy Titanfall. Please please please. It's really good, we promise."

Episodic adventure game Life is Strange releases its first episode in a few days, but developers Dontnod have been giving out a free sample ahead of time, like those cheese cubes they sometimes have in supermarkets. Mmm, cheese cubes.
See Geralt run, ride, fight and, er, bathe in this new look at the massive RPG.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt isn't out till May 19th, which is entirely too long away, but CD Projekt have just released a lengthy new video to reassure us that their witchy game will be worth the wait. I, for one, feel pretty reassured! See if you feel the same after watching Geralt scamper about a grimly lovely medieval open world below.
