Let's end the weekend with the news that a Dark Souls-themed cafe is opening in Japan. Yes, you did read that right - a cafe, themed around the world of Dark Souls, in Japan. I think that sound is Ed already hurriedly booking a flight.

Titled Operation Broken Eagle, it stars Spec Ops Commander Adam Kane, a man tasked with finding and capturing the President of the United States. It's like Air Force One, but backwards! A Dead Rising 3 demo is now available to download from the Xbox One Games Store, according to Microsoft's Larry Hryb. You'll find it in the New Game Demos section - alas, it doesn't appear to be visible on Xbox.com. Bear in mind that availability may vary by region.
Is this Creative Assembly's new Alien game?.
The very first in-game screenshots of what appears to be Creative Assembly's unannounced Alien game have surfaced on Twitter, care of XBLA snoop lifelower. They show off a motion tracker, space suits and environment design that's strongly redolent of the original 1979 film. How about those chunky keyboards and CRT screens, eh?

Speaking to Eurogamer, Turn 10's creative director Dan Greenawalt has suggested that it could take several months to prepare new tracks for the game - apparently, the developer spent the best part of a year updating one of the courses from Forza Motorsport 4 for the new game.
