VideoGamer brings you five essential strategies to guide you through the world of Seattle.
The Smoke Bar
Your smoke bar represents your ammo count. Your main sources of smoke are chimneys and wrecked cars. Note that whilst not all cars around the city are wrecked and smoking to begin with, you can destroy any car yourself if you need smoke.
As a general policy, it’s good to be mindful of your smoke meter and not to burn through your ammo without reason. Although there is technically an infinite supply of smoke on the map, trying to find a source mid-battle can be risky, and it can sometimes lead you away from the battle. Generally though, patience is the...
The arcade-paced space combat title comes to the new-gen consoles with a restructured campaign, all new ship models, greatly enhanced textures and lighting, two additional Strike Suits (the Marauder, and the Raptor) and the extra Heroes of the Fleet campaign.
But six month delay meant it could include most of the things it wanted in the original.
"There are always things that you have to keep for the next game," Raynaud told CVG. "In this case, the extra time allowed us to put a lot of our ideas into the game, so we are happy with that."
But there's store.
"Yes, we have ideas [for a sequel]," Raynaud continued. "Some ideas that we weren't able to get into the game would not have made a difference, while other, bigger ideas that naturally emerged during development were so different that we felt they would have changed the experience."
He concluded: "The consistency that we have achieved with...
Enemy Front sees players taking up the role of Robert Hawkins, an American War correspondent who joins a group of resistance fighters to battle against the Nazi regime.
"Players can meticulously plan out their route, picking off enemy soldiers with pinpoint accuracy from a distance, disable and dispatch troops through sabotage, or go in guns blazing," says City. "Open-ended levels allow for multiple styles of play for any type of gamer."

It won't cost you any money, but is it worth your time?
The game is part of Crytek's shift into entirely free-to-play development, an intention stated in February 2013 by the developer's chief executive Cevat Yerli.
The beta features three versus modes, four playable classes, plus a handful of PvE co-op missions. The versus modes are your standard Team Deathmatch and plant the bomb fare, while the classes are made up of Rifleman, Medic, Engineer and Sniper.

"We never intended to sell the company," Iribe told VentureBeat. "We were building this thing and going along this path."
He continued: "At one point, we were introduced to Mark Zuckerberg. He was really interested in what we were doing. He was fascinated like other people in the geek community, or gaming community. He was really excited about how we were making this thing work. He wanted me to show him the demo at Facebook. I told him there was a better demo down here in Irvine. He was able to hop on a flight down. He met the team. He saw the latest demos. We talked about the...
The "vast majority who are actually software developers see why this is a good thing".
However, Oculus VR co-founder Palmer Luckey is hopeful of winning back Persson's support once he sees what the $2 billion buyout allows the firm to achieve.
"Facebook and Oculus are not an obvious fit, unlike WhatsApp or Instagram. You can see how they fit together. If I were to read the headline, I would be confused about why it would be a good thing," Luckey told VentureBeat. "We've already said quite a bit. We’re going to have more good news about what we will be able to do now. We are working with Facebook, and we can’t announce it yet.
From the very start of the expansion’s additional act, Reaper of Souls is bigger and better than what went before. Each map is both physically larger than earlier offerings and also crammed with events and dungeons. These are far more varied than before, too, no longer predictable winding corridors or samey combat arenas with barely-noticeable gimmicks. Each is a new challenge, using monster variety and clever environmental design changes to provide a refreshing, if still familiar, experience. This is echoed in the finales: the damp squib of encountering a boss less difficult than one of...
Will finally reveal long-awaited shooter later this year.
"As already announced, we'll finally reveal 'Devil's Third' this year!" Itagaki wrote on Facebook. "You can see that we've upgraded our title logo. I wanted to go for the metallic feeling of the Breitling that I love so much. But I don't really wanna tell you exactly why, sorry ;D"
Devil's Third was first announced under THQ back in 2010, but its fate was left uncertain following the publisher's closure in 2013. The rights to the game were reportedly returned to Itagaki and developer Valhalla Game Studios in mid-2012.

Pachter says it's a mistake, but Sony's making a big bet on virtual reality.
The tech is still in prototype and a commercial release is likely some way off, but with VR going mainstream thanks to Facebook's acquisition of Oculus VR, Sony will be hoping VR really is the future of gaming and home entertainment.
"Our current prototype for Project Morpheus features a head mounted display with 1080p resolution and a 90 degree field of view. Accelerometer and gyroscope sensors built into the head mounted unit as well as PlayStation Camera accurately tracks head orientation and movement, so as your head rotates, the image of the virtual world rotates intuitively...
Ownership of the trademark was never part of the asset purchase agreement with Gearbox.
Back in February Gearbox filed a lawsuit which stated: "Recently-and without consulting the Duke IP's actual owner, Gearbox- Interceptor announced its intent to develop a Duke Nukem game based upon the various characters, content and intellectual property owned by Gearbox; the proposed game is entitled 'Duke Nukem: Mass Destruction'."
Gearbox seeks damages for the misuse of the IP, requesting for an "amount to be proven at trial".
However, 3D Realms states that the Asset Purchase Agreement with Gearbox for Duke Nukem Forever gave 3D Realms the rights to complete and...
