Nintendo has announced the title of its upcoming Wii U exclusive Star Fox. It's called Star Fox Zero and will be releasing during the holiday 2015 window.
To go along with the announcement, the company showcased some gameplay footage. Give it a look above and check out the Arwing's awesome new transformations.
Nintendo may no longer have huge E3 press conferences every year, but it plans to make a splash today in the form of a digital event. The question is, what does the company plan to show on the broadcast?
Final Fantasy VII is one of my personal top three favorite games of all-time. Part of that is due to it being the first RPG I ever played, but most of it is because of how extraordinary it was. It had a profound impact on my life, and judging by the overwhelmingly positive reaction of its remake announcement, I'm not alone.
At the Sony press conference, Capcom has revealed the return of both the British agent Cammy and the street brawler Birdie, as well as preliminary details on the beta program for Street Fighter V. Luckily, I had the opportunity to get private hands-on time with both Birdie and Cammy at the same press event for my initial preview.
Final Fantasy VII's remake announcement was a big deal. You could say that it was single-handedly the best thing that Sony could have shown at its E3 press conference and the best game that Square Enix could have decided to make.
Since the start of this console generation I've been quite vocal about my discontent with Sony's delivery. I haven't fallen in-love with any of the PS4's exclusives, a stark contrast from my 18 years of affection for the brand. Today, I learned that greatness really does await, and the future holds great things for PlayStation whether or not it's the best-selling current-gen console.
Surprising no one, Sony closed out its E3 media briefing with a gameplay demonstration of Naughty Dog's upcoming action-adventure game Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Give it a look above.
Sony has announced a partnership with Activision on Call of Duty.
Instead of showing off its new game during Microsoft's E3 presser, Treyarch took the stage at Sony's media briefing to showcase all new gameplay footage of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
As if re-announcing The Last Guardian and showcasing a Final Fantasy VII remake wasn't enough, Sony brought Yu Suzuki on-stage to announce that he intends to make Shenmue 3.
Here's the problem. Apparently Sony wasn't willing to fund it themselves, so Suzuki is looking for gamers to help him. A Kickstarter was announced that was immediately made available upon the announcement, allowing those who desire this highly requested game to help make it happen.
During Sony's E3 press conference LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule announced a brand new title for PlayStation 4. It's called Dreams and is very creation-minded, just like the studio's prior work.
A new Hitman was announced during Sony's Press Conference. Only CGI was shown, but its developer promises a constantly evolving experience, and the most ambitious from the series yet.
Sony kicked off its E3 media briefing with a gameplay reveal trailer of The Last Guardian, the long-delayed title dreamed up by the folks who created ICO and Shadow of the Colossus.
Sony's press conference takes place tonight at 6pm PST/9pm EST. The company has said its lineup for this year is light compared to previous years, but hopefully the company still has a few exciting announcements planned for fans.
Ubisoft ended its show with arguably its strongest unannounced game. It's another Tom Clancy game, and one that looks really, really good.
Called Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, the gameplay trailer shows a tactical third-person shooter title where you combat groups of enemies belonging to White Hat's crime group. There's a lot of strategy involved with how you approach missions with vehicles, customizable weapons, and tons of gadgets available for use. The story is mature and can be very violent, as proven by a cutcene shown halfway through the video.
During Ubisoft's E3 2015 press conference, the publisher unveiled a brand new third-person action game where knights face off against samurai against vikings.
It's called For Honor and features 4v4 multiplayer battles. The game is set for release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC in 2016. See the action in the reveal trailer above.
Ubisoft opened up its E3 Press Conference with quite the surprise: a sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth. It's titled South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and it's more South Park, exactly what fans want.
If you watched the Mirror's Edge Catalyst reveal, you may have had deja vu when you saw the game's antagonist shown on-screen. You weren't alone. Placing a photo of him side-by-side with Electronic Arts' current reigning CEO Andrew Wilson (seen above), there is a striking similarity between the two. It was particularly easy to spot during the EA Press Conference as Wilson spoke on stage for several minutes.
