[Original] Listing out all of the games that will be at any E3, let alone E3 2015, is like chasing a moving target. Sometimes publishers and developers will discretely outline their lineup of games at the convention, and sometimes they don't. And even if they announce those games, they may have secret games under wraps that aren't a part of their official lineup... or games they are only showing to people behind closed doors... or games that may show up at the very last minute.
DonÄ‚Ë€â„Ët let frustration get in the way.
DonÄ‚Ë€â„Ët Starve debuted on the PC back in 2013. The next year it came out on the PlayStation 4 and Vita. So now weÄ‚Ë€â„Ëve got the Wii U version, which includes the DLC add-on Reign of Giants. The results are solid, although not really the enhancement youÄ‚Ë€â„Ëd think considering the Wii U has an additional screen.
The closed beta for the free-to-play MMOFPS PlanetSide 2 on PlayStation 4 is ending soon, so we're kicking up our normal Haiku Friday to, well, NOW!
We've got 20 beta codes for you to experience PlanetSide 2 before it fully releases on June 23. The entire download is 10GB, so make sure you've got enough room on your PlayStation 4.
To enter, please write a haiku about PlanetSide 2 in the comments below. A haiku is a short three-line poem where the first line is 5 syllables, the second is 7, and the third is 5. Make sure you've got a GameRevolution account, since I'm going to send the code via Private Message to your account so that no one can steal it.
LEGO Jurassic World, developed by TT Games, is from the same studio who made the LEGO Movie Videogame, which had levels that felt thin, but had hubs that were fantastic. Here's hoping that with the larger amount of source material, the game is a bit more fleshed out!
When it comes to great video game art, few do it as well as Blizzard Entertainment. Each of its franchises, from Diablo to Warcraft, have a distinct and compelling vibe. Their great character design is particularly highlighted in the recently released Heroes of the Storm.

Blizzard has hired artists Smug, Hicks, and Captain Kris to draw a mural in downtown Los Angeles (Jesse St. & Imperial St.) which it calls Project Sprayhem. The mural, which stands more than 20 feet in height and is composed entirely of spray paint, includes more than a dozen popular Blizzard heroes including Diablo, Nova, and Arthas in true Heroes of the Storm fashion.
When Activision and developer Treyarch revealed Call of Duty: Black Ops III earlier this year, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC were the only platforms listed. Well, it turns out the game is heading to last-gen consoles as well.
Obsidian Entertainment Co-Founder and Creative Director Chris Avellone has left the company after working there for 12+ years.
He broke the news in a tweet earlier this morning, saying, "I have officially left Obsidian Entertainment to accept a sudden opening as the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts." He also confirmed his departure to Eurogamer.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt came out last month, but it's still the biggest game being played and talked about at the moment. It also continues to sell well, as evidenced by the fact that it's sold four million copies in just a few short weeks.
While both have their place, many gamers find themselves leaning toward one of two particular camps: open world or linear games.
Open-world game experiences offer far more freedom to the player and virtually limitless possibilities; however, they're often rough around the edges and don't tell the most compelling narratives. Bethesda's games—namely The Elder Scrolls and Fallout titles— perfectly fit this mold. Conversely, linear games trade that freedom for polish, oftentimes a solid story, and shiny visuals. Just take The Last of Us, for example.
E3 week is almost here, and with it will come an avalanche of new announcements. A few early leaks have sought to ruin the surprise, but as we've learned over the years not all of them can be trusted.
Electronic Arts has revealed the official name of DICE's upcoming new entry in the Mirror's Edge franchise. Instead of simply being called "Mirror's Edge 2" the publisher has decided to go with Mirror's Edge: Catalyst.
[Update]: Microsoft officially revealed its new Xbox One model today. As suggested in the leak, it includes 1TB of storage and the new Xbox One controller with a 3.5mm headset jack. The bundle also includes a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
Platinum Games, the studio behind the recently released Bayonetta 2 and last generation's Metal Gear Rising, will be revealing a brand-new title at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.
Microsoft has released a new system update for Xbox One. While it doesn't add any apparent features for you to enjoy, it does take care of some behind-the-scenes work in preparing the system for what is likely a major dashboard update.

It's been a long time coming, but Super Meat Boy is finally heading to Sony platforms. The game comes out on PlayStation 4 and Vita later this Fall.
The announcement comes courtesy of Tommy Refenes of Team Meat. In his PlayStation Blog post, Refenes details how he and co-designer Edmund McMillen weren't "allowed to bring it to PS3 for very complicated reasons." Fortunately Team Meat and Sony have gotten through all the red tape to make the re-release a reality.
Wait, when was this? That was my first thought that ran through my mind when I heard I would have the chance to play an alpha build of Fortnite by Epic Games at pre-E3 week in Santa Monica. I scoured through my notes and my memories and remembered that, yes, I had written a
Capcom plans to celebrate Mega Man's 8-bit origins with the Mega Man Legacy Collection, a re-release of the first six games in the series on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and 3DS.
Mega Man Legacy Collection presents the NES games in HD, but it also introduces new features. Replays and leaderboards will be included, and the game touts a Challenge Mode. The new mode "remixes gameplay segments from all six games, with plenty of scaling difficulty objectives for experienced players to conquer yet serving as a good starting point for new players, too."
