Car fans everywhere have suffered for many years from EA's exclusivity with Porsche. Games such as Forza Motorsport 5, Project Cars, and Gran Turismo 6 have had to find workarounds to introduce Porsche vehicles in its games, usually depending upon heavily modified racing models or Ruf productions to avoid a lawsuit.
In less than two weeks the widely acclaimed Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be receiving its first expansion. Called Heavensward, it's an important package that will deliver a wealth of new features and content to one of the best MMORPGs on the market. Among its goods are three new jobs, areas to explore, an increased level cap, and additional abilities for existing classes.

What you might not know is that there are stringent requirements on accessing the expansion's content. These requirements go well beyond today's standard of being at level cap to enjoy the new features. For a game performing as well as FFXIV and crafted by the struggling-to-modernize Square Enix it comes as a bit of shock. For the uninitiated, below I'll go over what the 2.55 requirement is, and why it's not in the best interest of the game's future. The requirement
There are 100 main scenario quests available in FFXIV: A Realm Reborn upon reaching level 50. These quests range from being as simple as speaking to someone a few steps away, to having you clear a dungeon or primal boss with other adventurers. Each features lengthy cutscenes, and all 100 must be completed to gain access to Heavensward. Players who don't finish all of the quests will be barred from entry of all the expansion's offerings, as explained by Director Naoki Yoshida
Those eager to see more of the next entry in the Deus Ex franchise will be pleased to hear Square Enix has confirmed that during its E3 media briefing, we'll be getting a first look at some actual in-game footage of Mankind Divided.
Bethesda has confirmed that Fallout 4, which was announced for Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 just last week, will never be making its way to PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.
"It is not coming to 360 and PS3, the stuff weÄ‚Ë€â„Ëre doing will never work there," global community manager Matt Grandstaff said in a post on NeoGAF.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has reached its next Kickstarter goal, securing a port to PlayStation Vita.
Armature Studio will be handling the handheld port, and a physical release is planned as well. Here are the specifics that will be unique to the PS Vita version:
Music Export - We thought it would be awesome to be able to export the gameÄ‚Ë€â„Ës music to the VitaÄ‚Ë€â„Ës music library. So weÄ‚Ë€â„Ëre going to do that.
PS4 Cross Save Support - Obviously, weÄ‚Ë€â„Ëll need to work with the PS4 dev team on this, but weÄ‚Ë€â„Ëve done cross save before and weÄ‚Ë€â„Ëd love to do it again.
Touch Screen Support - Remember how we mentioned drawing on the map on the WiiU version? Why not do that for Vita too? And scrub around the map with your finger as well.
PlayStation TV - WeÄ‚Ë€â„Ëll also make sure that the game is fully playable on the PS TV.
The Kickstarter currently sits at a whopping $3,629,540 in pledge money, with 4 days left in the campaign.
Time for some real talk. Even realer talk. The realest talk. Wait, realest or realist? It doesn't matter. It's E3 time, and everybody's predicting something. But I have seen the future, my friends, and I know these six things which will really happen, beyond a doubt.

I sure can't wait for E3.
At its Tales of 2015 event in Japan, Bandai Namco revealed Tales of Berseria. The new entry in its 20-year-old RPG series will star Velvet, a tough pirate lady voiced by Rina Sato. Sato is probably best known to RPG fans for her work in Atelier Rorona and Tales of Xiliia.
I love Girls und Panzer. I mean I love it. But I don't necessarily want to have sex with it. Someone else, however, totally does. And those people have successfully funded a game on Kickstarter.
With just a month to go until E3 2015, we can't help but think about what big announcements are on the horizon. With so many publishers involved, and the health of console and PC gaming, the sky is the limit when it comes to what E3 can bring.
On May 28th I was invited to visit Blizzard Entertainment's headquarters in Irvine, California. The invitation was for a Heroes of the Storm press event, one that I was excited to attend given my deep interest in the game. The event wasn't detailed before my arrival, so I only assumed that I would see post-launch content. I was right.
Blizzard is currently hosting a YouTube launch event in Santa Monica, California for the release of its latest title, Heroes of the Storm. If you're a fan of the game, you'll want to tune in to see some competitive matches and the announcement of what's coming next to the game.
The Velvet Room's Margaret now takes to the stage in Persona 4: Dancing All Night. So does that mean Igor is next? Because that would be effing amazing. Here's the video:
There's other stuff here.
Persona 4: Dancing All Night and is set to arrive in North America some time in the fall of 2015, though it will be out in Japan on the 25th of this month.
While you game, you should put on this dope-ass podcast about Metroidvanias. As you can probably tell by my recent discussion and the image above, I've been dabbling a little bit myself. It's not my favorite genre in the world, but one I respect the heck out of, even if I think the name is a little silly.
Cassandra became a focal point of the Dragon Age franchise in 2011 and has since proved herself to be a key player in keeping the peace. Whether it be through diplomacy or combat, she's sure to get done what needs to be done.
I'd like to think of myself as somewhat of the local Nintendo expert around here. I mean, like others, I've been with the NES since the early days; unlike others, however, I've survived through games like Super Glove Ball and Raid on Bungling Bay. So when the bigs asked me to put together my Top 10 predictions for Nintendo's E3 2015 this year, I said what I always say: "Nick, why do you always call me as I'm walking out the door?" (No seriously, it's like he times it that way on purpose.) Then, of course, I said I'd do it, because who wants to get fired, really.
EarthBound's Ness has been quite lonely in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, but Mother 3 protagonist Lucas joins him as a DLC character on June 14.
Nintendo of America revealed the release date in a tweet earlier today. He's the second downloadable character in the game, after Mewtwo who was released back in April. More characters will be added to the game in the future.
Project CARS was met with plenty of critical acclaim when it came out in early May, but clearly it's resonated with many audiences since its release. In fact, the game has sold over one million copies worldwide.
It seems like Amazon leaks are becoming more and more frequent, and the latest instance is a listing for a new Xbox One bundle. Apparently it comes out during E3.
The listing details a bundle with a 1TB Xbox One model and a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The release date is June 15, the same day as Microsoft's E3 press conference.
