Axiom Verge, the hit action-platform game from indie developer Tom Happ, will arrive on PC in just three weeks' time, and will be available for purchase through Steam and the Humble Store.
The upcoming remastered version of Halo 3: ODST for Xbox One is "on track" for a release next month, developer 343 Industries has confirmed.
In a post on the Halo Waypoint blog, the studio noted that in addition to ODST, the promised Relic map remake will be coming as well. "WeÄ‚Ë€â„Ëre excited about the progress of the Relic multiplayer map remake and the Campaign for Halo 3: ODST, both of which are on track to release within Halo: The Master Chief Collection next month with our next content update."

After spending nine years at Epic Games, Greg Mitchell has announced he is leaving the studio to work at Microsoft's new first-party development team, Black Tusk Studios.

Shovel Knight, the hit indie 2D side-scrolling platformer from developer Yacht Club Games will be making its way to Xbox One next week.
Major Nelson made the announcement on Twitter, after mistakenly saying it was arriving this week initially.

Pirate Bay Co-Founder Fredrik Neij, who's serving his year-long sentence in a prison in Sweden, has been denied his request for a Nintendo Entertainment System, according to Swedish publication Expressen.se.
Heroes of the Storm, an upcoming free-to-play MOBA developed by Blizzard, has already gone through alpha and closed beta stages. Now the game has on official release date: June 2.

You may have caught the news that Heroes of the Storm has received an official release date. This marks an arrival date for not only a new Blizzard game, which in and of itself makes it deserving of your attention, but the game developer giant's entry into what has become the most popular game genre in the world. With its entry comes a new contender in a genre that seemingly every developer wants to get its hands into thanks to League of Legends' remarkable profitability.

The newest entry in the Star Ocean series was revealed last week, and now we have more details on the game thanks to an online preview from Famitsu (via Gematsu).
Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness takes place in the year 537, in between the events of Star Ocean: The Second Story and Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. It stars Fidel Camus as the protagonist, the son of the most famous swordsman in the Leslia Kingdom.

Matthew Armstrong, the creator and director of the Borderlands franchise, has decided to leave Gearbox Software.
