Nintendo has just announced it will be bringing Yo-Kai Watch to western territories. Unfortunately, the publisher has yet to provide a release date, but we do know it will be available in North America, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, and Korea.

Crytek, the developer behind Crysis who faced layoffs and other financial hardships last year, was apparently saved by Amazon, sources at Kotaku report.
Amazon has agreed to a $50-70 million-dollar licensing deal for Crytek's CryEngine technology, which was reportedly substantial enough to save the company. Crytek co-founder Faruk Yerli hinted at the parternship in mid-March, referring to the deal as "a huge one, probably the biggest one."

2013's Tomb Raider is now the best selling in the franchise, Square Enix announced today. Totaling at 8.5 million units sold across five platforms, it now not only ranks as the top selling Tomb Raider in history, but also one of Square Enix's highest grossing.
[Update] The April system update for Xbox One comes out today. It includes most of the features detailed previously, such as better party chat functionality and new achievement notifications. Voice messaging and dedicated servers are still in the preview phase while Microsoft gets more feedback.

Rockstar Games has come up with a very clever way of punishing Grand Theft Auto V players who use an exploit to get one of the game's rare cars in GTA Online.
Instead of patching out the ability to bring the car into the game's online, the studio has made it so that upon entering the vehicle, an explosion will occur, killing the player where he/she stands. It's incredibly clever and absolutely hilarious.

How a fighter goes 10 years without being knocked out, then suddenly, one night, it happens, and from there on out, it's a regular thing until he has to retire? Like that? Am I too war-torn?
As I watched the credits roll after completing FromSoftware's latest journey, I was overwhelmed with emotion. On one hand I was thrilled to have completed a game as mercilessly unforgiving as Bloodborne, experiencing one of the most visceral virtual settings of our time along the way.
