Last week, developer 343 Industries launched a teaser site counting down to what Halo fans assumed would be a significant reveal regarding the upcoming fifth entry in the series. Sadly, what we got instead was an early look at the Halo 5: Guardians marketing campaign.
Bloodborne looks gorgeous and has what appears to be a fast, intense pace in the combat. We don't know much yet about the story, but imagination is a wonderful thing!
The PokeĂłmon franchise is undoubtedly one of the most addictive and valuable properties that Nintendo owns. It's still the number one reason to own a Nintendo handheld, even after six generations of the same creature-collecting formula.
I've been banging it hard on Yakuza 0 all week long and it's fantastic. It's kind of exhausting to five to nine hours per day of playing one video game into a schedule that already includes a bunch of writing, maintaining a damn house, and not neglecting a full time "real" job, but I've been really digging Sega's latest Yakuza effort.
When he leaves GameRevolution next month, they're gonna change his name to Fred Smith on every post.
Well that escalated quickly. Just within the last three weeks, we've gone form Hideo Kojima saying (as he's said with almost every Metal Gear Solid title) that MGSV: The Phantom Pain would be the last Metal Gear Solid game, to Kojima announcing plans to leave the company, to Konami flipping over his desk and calling him a doody head.
Do you despise rage-quitters who ruin your win-loss record? Well, NetherRealm has decided to punish all of them by blowing up their heads in Mortal Kombat X.
If your opponent leaves a game early, the character's head will explode in a Quitality and you'll be awarded with a flawless victory. I hope that if that player continues to disconnect prematurely, that there's some form of demerit next to their profile, but this will suffice for the time being.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD came out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One earlier this week, and game director Hajime Tabata celebrated its launch at an event in Hong Kong. He also revealed artwork for a potential sequel.
Nintendo's recently-announced 'NX' console is already up for pre-orders at EB Games Australia, who posted the above graphic asking "What's NX'T?" on Facebook before saying that it can be preordered in-store.
Rare's not-so-family-friendly squirrel is coming to Project Spark on April 23, Microsoft has announced.
It's titled Conker's Big Reunion, and will be an episodic series available within the confines of the aforementioned creation-heavy video game, currently available on Xbox One and PC.
The survival-horror Slender: The Arrival will be arriving on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 24, and we've got 10 Xbox One and 10 PS4 codes to giveaway. As per usual, we'll be handing them out to the lucky winners who write the best haiku!
To enter, please write a haiku about Slender: The Arrival in the comments below. A haiku is a short three-line poem where the first line is 5 syllables, the second is 7, and the third is 5. (I'll be counting syllables to make sure it's a proper haiku.) If you want your haiku to stand out, try to make it sharp, witty, and relevant.

If a listing on the Korean Game Rating Board is to be believed, Sony Japan Studio's PS Vita game Gravity Rush is getting remastered for release on PlayStation 4.
The listing notes the game is rated 12+ and will be titled Gravity Rush Remaster. Other than the fact that it's supposedly coming to PlayStation 4, there's nothing else to glean from the post, unfortunately.
Halo developer 343 Industries is currently teasing what appears to be a Halo 5: Guardians-related announcement.
If you head over to the new teaser site, dubbed "Hunt the Truth," you'll notice a countdown timer as well as a bullet with the word "TRAITOR" inscribed on its surface. Could this be a tease for new information on Halo 5's campaign? I sure hope so!
Konami is apparently gearing up for a completely new take on the Metal Gear series.
According to several job listings that have surfaced online, the company is looking to hire some new development talent to kick off a brand new series based on Hideo Kojima's beloved game franchise.
Here's everything you need to know about Battlefield Hardline, which Anthony LaBella reviewed earlier this week. Also check out another Games 101 arriving this Friday!
Amiibo crash BowserÄ‚Ë€â„Ës party.
With Super Smash Bros. came the advent of the amiibo. TheyÄ‚Ë€â„Ëve started a bit of a consumer frenzy due to their scarcity and collectability, and as youÄ‚Ë€â„Ëve seen, on bidding sites. But not all is so glorious about amiibo, as their seemingly last-minute addition to Mario Party 10 may have detracted from what could have been the best Mario Party yet.
Leaked images of four unannounced characters for Tekken 7 have supposedly been revealed on Avoiding the Puddle. According to the site, these images were datamined from "very special friends in Korea" so these character reveals are very much unofficial.

Following through with its promise to reveal more details on Star Wars Battlefront in Spring 2015, Electronic Arts and DICE have confirmed on its official blog that the game will debut at the Star Wars Celebration taking place in Anaheim, CA from April 16-19.
