G3AR: "There are only a few certainties in life: death, taxes and a new FIFA game every year (that is if we disregard other annual franchises). Over the years, FIFA has evolved, matured and adapted, and it is still one of the most popular franchises on console. On the other hand, fans of the other most popular South African past time, rugby, have to wait patiently until some publisher acknowledges them and brings out a rugby game. Even then, its a hit and miss. I will go out on a limb here and say that last spectacular rugby game was Jonah Lomu Rugby on the PlayStation 1. Granted, there have been a couple decent attempts, most notably Rugby 08, but 2011s Rugby World Cup 2011 was simply a cash in on the hype surrounding the event. The more recent attempt, Rugby Challenge developed by Sidhe received mixed emotions from fans."
