Things I Think I Think About Star Fox Zero's Delay

Added: 21.09.2015 14:17 | 118 views | 0 comments

NWR: Caution: Contains large quantities of Amiibo. Seeing a Twitter direct message from Neal about Star Fox Zero's delay is a hell of a thing to wake up to. Nintendo's announcement last night of the delay of Star Fox Zero to Q1 2016 is not without precedent. Recall that in 2013, Super Mario 3D World was moved up to the November slot as Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was moved to December, then February 2014. And it worked out pretty well critically, even if the sales weren't as strong as they could've been. But Tropical Freeze was held back because it was Nintendo's retail lineup for the Wii U in the first quarter of 2014; Star Fox Zero is being delayed for quality concerns.

Review: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - Connected Digital World

Connected Digital World writes: One of my fondest memories of video games was during Metal Gear Solid 4. Me and a friend sat back as I guided Snake through his journey and we enjoyed the narrative unfold before us. We became so engrossed that we finished the entire thing in one sitting. Admittedly the birds were singing and the next day wasnt exactly high energy but we didnt care at all. Its one of those amazing moments of gaming that Ill never forget. So on top of the impossibly high expectations we all have for MGS I have deep personal expectations too. A tough act to follow indeed.

Until Dawn: My Worst Decisions

Added: 21.09.2015 2:17 | 90 views | 0 comments

Stu at Sushimonster85 writes 'The following article contains spoilers for Until Dawn. Naturally, it being a game where different choices have different outcomes, they may not be things you saw in your play-through, but still, be warned. Having just completed my first play-through last night, I am looking forward to diving back in and making the completely opposite decisions to the ones I made the first time round. Partly to see what happens, partly to try and rectify some of the, frankly awful, choices I made first time through. These are the choices that scarred me the most, the ones that made feel bad for these fictional, video game characters.'

Why I Love: Mars' Off-World Transit station in Destiny

Added: 20.09.2015 3:17 | 72 views | 0 comments

GR: "Mars is the very first world you see in Destiny's opening cinematic, watching a trio of astronauts leave bootprints in the red dirt as they warily tread toward the the Traveler. At that point in our near-future, Mars looks like it does in all those pictures from the Curiosity rover. You won't see what it looks like post-colonization until later in the game, after you've grown accustomed to fighting through the remains of human civilization on Earth, the Moon, and Venus."
