Chalgyr's Game Room writes: Visual novels are great, and they have been steadily making their way to North America in more forms on more consoles than ever. Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters is not what I would consider a true visual novel, because there are some additional game elements that make it more of a hybrid with a strategy game. That is not a bad thing at all, and these blended genres open up the door to a wider audience and hopefully in time pave the way for even more games like this.

The staying power of older systems in Japan sets it worlds apart from North America and Europe. While one is busy watching new-gen software outsell the older versions, Japan is going through the opposite situation. PS3 versions of games are consistently outselling PS4 versions, despite the situation going much the other way abroad. Even just this past week, Wii-U's Mario Party 10 was outsold by the PSP's latest Uta no Prince. I thought Mario Party was a lock for the top three.

As many know over the past few years Electronic Arts has not been everybodys favorite developer. So much so that they were named Worst Company in America for 2012 and 2013 by Consumerist.com. Which in many respects EA had coming with the implementation of day one DLC. On top of those shady business practices there were the terrible launches of certain video games. The worst that comes to mind is Battlefield 4, which should have been delayed and beta tested. It was not and suffered 6 months worth of game breaking bugs because of it.
