How To Duplicate Items in Animal Crossing: New Leaf

A recently-clarified glitch allows you to duplicate items within Animal Crossing: New Leaf when you visit a friend's town (online only). The process itself is quite simple: What you do is, drop the items off, then the host ends the game. As it saves, [the visitor turns] off the wireless via switch on 3DS. Bam. [...]

Mini Fortress writes:
"Unlike other Animal Crossing games, Animal Crossing: New Leaf puts you in the role of mayor. As the mayor, its your job to meet and greet citizens, decide on town projects, host holiday events, and more. I like the idea of being the mayor as I believe it gives the player something to work toward, and an additional reason to come back day after day. Of course, all the traditional Animal Crossing elements make their return, as well."

Mario and Luigi: Dream Team is new at No.3.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf is up to No.2, followed by new entry Mario and Luigi: Dream Team at No.3. FIFA 13 drops one place to No.4, with Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition also slipping to No.5.
The critically mauled Aliens: Colonial Marines benefits from big price cuts to climb 12 places to No.10, whilst 2K's Civ 5: Brave New World is new at No.39 – No.2 in the PC only chart.
It's worth bearing in mind, however, that the chart doesn't track digital sales. The game likely fared somewhat better online.

| My First (Somewhat Shameful) Month With Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Animal Crossing: New Leaf did some bad things to me. Sure, at first it was all about catching the biggest bug in a friendly competition, netting a fish or two to buy a new shirt, and paying off a small loan that would upgrade my closet-sized starter home into something more akin to, say, a walk-in closet. But then things took a turn for the worse.
