It appears that copies of the Playstation 4 version Batman: Arkham Knight are now making their way into the hands of a few lucky gamers. An individual has posted a number of screenshot with his user ID clearly written on a paper next to the disc as proof of ownership.

Forbes: IGNs review of the game will be next Friday, so it does appear that either some outlets will receive code earlier than others, or that something else entirely is going on. Kotaku will also have their review live before launch. This was one thing I had speculated about below, and had sent out queries to other writers to find out what they had heard. My other speculation, as noted below, is that the PR agency Id received this information from was mistaken. Its possible Forbes will still receive their review copy prior to launch. But it does seem odd to send out some review copies to some publications ahead of launch, and some at launch. Im not sure what the point would be. If its a matter of having to own PS4 debug units in order to review prior to launch (as was the case with Witcher 3) then Xbox One and PC gamers are left in the lurch. Thats also an odd decision, and one Ive almost never encountered over the past few years until now.

From the Play as The Joker challenge maps, Harley Quinns Revenge, and even Cold, Cold Heart have been some of the best reasons to play the game. But how many DLCs will we get during that six month period? Information has already been released about extra skins, Batmobile race tracks, and challenge maps that will keep us busy, but Im more concerned about the story missions involving both Batman and his allies. One of them will be Batgirl: A Matter of Family, a prequel story that a lot of fans believe will be Rocksteadys take on The Killing Joke, and a Red Hood story mission where players take control of Jason Todd, the second Robin who became a more Punisher-styled type of vigilante. Since those characters already have their stories, there are three storylines I want to see included.
