Pixelitis Picks: Favorite Et tu, Brute moments

Added: 26.03.2014 18:20 | 3 views | 0 comments

"Betrayal is painful. Everyones experienced it in some form throughout their lives, and it never ceases to be interesting as a plot device. Especially when you least expect it. Some of us can still remember the first time we were backstabbed by a teammate who decided to uncheck their alliance with you during a match in StarCraft. That was the worst. But I digress, in this weeks Pixelitis Picks we are focusing on the game characters that we (and the in-game protagonists) were deceived by. These are our favorite Et tu, Brute moments in the games weve played, aka those times where we felt like we were being stabbed in the heart by the ones we thought we could trust. The truth hurts sometimes. Beware, heavy spoilers follow for Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, BioShock and Portal 2." - Pixelitis Staff

Betrayer Review - The Creepiest 17th Century Game | Analog Addiction

Added: 25.03.2014 17:15 | 5 views | 0 comments

Analog Addiction: "When I first heard about Betrayer and the developer behind it, I was genuinely intrigued. Blackpowder Games is composed of people whom have previously worked on games such as No One Lives Forever, or a favourite of mine the original F.E.A.R. While my first thoughts were positive, I have to say that the final product doesnt quite reach my initial expectations. Betrayer is a fun experience for the first two or three hours, but unfortunately it gets quite tedious and repetitive after that."

Betrayer Review | Geekenstein

Added: 25.03.2014 0:15 | 6 views | 0 comments

"Betrayer wants you to explore its bleak and expansive world with very little direction. It is yet another entry in the resurgence of games with little to no hand-holding. If you want a game with clearly defined goals, stop reading, as Betrayer clearly isnt for you. If you want a unique experience that is, at times, frustrating due to its freedom, then Betrayer might just be for you." - David Rhinehart of Geekenstein
