The controls meanwhile, while not unplayable, are rather clunky. Fighting and moving are easier to master but theres no finesse to anything. Add this to the fact that its impossible to move while jumping or running in the air and onto a platform, something that would come in pretty handing when random respawning gun-toting robots were after me."

SCP is intended to serve as an unofficial patch for System Shock 2 that delivers an authentic but also highly polished SS2 gameplay experience—hopefully approximating the form SS2 would have taken if Irrational had had a few more months to work on it before release. All changes have been made with the intent of respecting Irrational’s original vision. The other goal of SCP is to upgrade SS2 to take advantage of the enhanced graphical features of the NewDark engine in those ways that are beyond the means of standalone mods. The guiding principle for SCP has been that SS2’s gameplay is fine as-is, and that its greatest strength is immersion—its ability to make players feel like they’re really trapped on board the Von Braun with all its horrors. So while we’ve tweaked game systems and made adjustments to the level geometry, the goal hasn’t been balancing gameplay, but rather eliminating those things that don’t make sense to the point that they take you out of the game. Anything illogical, gamey, or otherwise immersion-breaking, we’ve tried to correct. SCP requires System Shock 2 patched to version 2.43 (NewDark) or higher, and it's highly recommended that you use SS2Tool to do it. Also included is a preview version of SHTUP-ND, highly recommended for use with SCP.

Spike Chunsoft is continuing the Kenka Bancho series on Nintendo 3DS with Kenka Bancho 6: Soul Blood. This game is a beat em up with school life elements similar to the Persona series. The story begins at the school entrance ceremony and continues up to graduation. Players will study (if you want!), go surfing, work a part time job, play beach volleyball, and climb your way up the food chain to be the biggest badass in town.

WC: Not long now, not long until we finally get an HD remaster thats actually worth forking out the big-bucks for. The vast majority of whats been released so far have been marginally-upgraded overall, with a noticeable coat of paint lacquered onto the textures of the game itself and not much else. Although the main reason behind bringing an old classic out of the ether again is meant to just be for the sake of those people who missed it first time round, there are always going to be a certain number of original fans that are on the fence as to whether they should get stuck in for a second time. Luckily Rockstar in all their amazingly-talented ways have cottoned onto this notion, packing the PS4/Xbox One and PC version of the game with enough fully revamped assets to genuinely make it feel like a distinguishable entry into the franchise.
