Geek Citadel Reviews Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag

Added: 23.11.2013 21:17 | 6 views | 0 comments

Our video review for Battlefield 4 is also attached to this review: "The latest hero in the Assassins Creed saga is the great-grandfather of Connor from AC 3. Unlike previous iterations of the series, Edward Kenway is not an Assassin. In fact, his introduction with the Templar and Assassins is simply a matter of happenstance. Mr. Kenway is a pirate true and true, but hes a bit different from his brethren in regards to ambitions. Edward doesnt want to loot and plunder until hes too old or swinging from the gallows. He has aspirations of owning land and becoming a King among pirates, and the best way to achieve this goal is to find a secret treasure called The Observatory."

Geek Citadel Reviews - Batman: Arkham Origins

Added: 08.11.2013 7:17 | 15 views | 0 comments

Kevin Jones writes: "Way before the Caped Crusader was the nightmare in every criminals mind; he was a mystery and a rumor on the lips of the underworld. For one night, the Black Mask has hired eight assassins to find this mythical man in a Bat costume and take him out. Anyone else would just stay in the house to a bloody death, but Batman wants to catch Black Mask and stop the assassins from destroying the city. This would all be in a days work for a seasoned Batman, but an up and coming version of the Dark Knight could be in for a learning experience."

Mass Effect Foundation #2 Review

Added: 22.08.2013 17:46 | 20 views | 0 comments

Mass Effect Foundation #2, to my surprise, continued the story of Rasa and her involvement with the Illusive Man and Cerberus. Rasa has been sent to the Citadel to retrieve sensitive information from a Mr. Fist, owner of nightclub Chora's Den, who suddenly turned against the Shadow Broker. Rasa's goal is to grab Fist and his information before one of the Shadow Broker's assassins reaches him, one Urdnot Wrex.

Review: Dragons Crown (DarkZero)

Added: 05.08.2013 19:19 | 14 views | 0 comments

"Great arcade-style beat em ups are few and far between. In this day and age the genre is often short of its true potential. Its no wonder we get ports of old games with online multiplayer slotted in, because its not just nostalgia as a reason we love them, but because they have aged well and are still a blast to play. Just look at Streets of Rage 2 - it's 20 years old, yet still holds up remarkably well. There have been a few good hitters, such as Castle Crashers, but that is a minority. This is where publisher, Atlus, and developer, Vanillaware, have teamed together to bring one of the most exciting, deep, and mechanically rewarding arcade-style beat em ups in a very long time. Dragon's Crown is the game that Sacred Citadel wanted to be, and, as a huge fan of the genre, I'm so happy to see it arrive in English."

Geek Citadel Reviews Dragons Crown

Added: 31.07.2013 20:19 | 15 views | 0 comments

Beat-em ups are easy to come by, but its incredibly hard to find a great one. The current generation has some appealing titles like Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Guacamelee, but many other titles dont stand up to classics like Streets of Rage and Dungeons and Dragons. Dragons Crown absorbs the model of fun brawling combat and fuses it with RPG elements and a diablo style loot system. But is this enough for Dragons Crown to carve itself a special place in side-scrolling history?

Tin Man Games spills the beans about its exciting plans for its Fighting Fantasy digital gamebooks Change is afoot at Tin Man Games. Over on the Melbourne-based studio's blog, the 'guardian' of the digital Fighting Fantasy gamebooks has revealed some pretty big chunks of news.
