Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski has finished Super Mario 3D World on Wii U, and he is impressed to say the least. He said the game is "so tightly designed" and will be a "system selling title for the Wii U."

Super Mario 3D Land was varied, with the developers tossing out new mechanics left and right that never feel overused, and level designs that were colorful and unique. Those were the ones that felt stale; they lacked creativity and that spark of something special that made games like 3D Land so much fun. [Update 3]: Up top you'll find my unboxing video. Click here for a better picture of the messed up trigger I found as I unwrapped my brand new Xbox One: Day One Edition controller. What's different about the Day One Edition console? It comes in a black box cardboard box instead of a green one. That's about it. I didn't pay any more than others paid for their non-Day One Edition Xbox, but I also gave my money to Microsoft earlier than I should have so now I just feel stupid.
