Hardcore Droid's Modern Combat 5: Blackout review
Added: 05.08.2014 17:13 | 7 views | 0 comments
In todays stagnant console game climate, the first-person shooter reigns supreme. From Call of Duty to Battlefield, the market is full to the brim with AAA FPSs, but theyve never been able to fully make the jump to the portable platform successfully. Modern Combat 5: Blackout, Gamelofts answer to Activisions insanely popular Call of Duty franchise, doesnt do anything innovative in fact, it sometimes comes off as blatant rip-off of its console brethren but it does old very well, and it is easily one of the best mobile first-person shooters on Android.

| Review: Modern Combat 5: Blackout (DarkZero)
Added: 03.08.2014 7:13 | 4 views | 0 comments
Anthony Morris: "Ill be honest here and start by saying I havent played the previous Modern Combat titles. On PC and consoles I love a good FPS, but Ive never looked at touch screen devices as being the ideal platform to play the genre on. But having recently got a new n powerful iPhone 5S, I have decided to spread my metaphorical gaming wings and try something new, and so I come at this game as someone with a great deal of FPS experience and a love for mobile games, but without the thoughts of what I liked and disliked about the previous/similar titles on the platform. You may be new to the genre yourself, and if so then this might be just the review youve been looking for."

| Madness Combat rises from the dead with a promising new game trailer
Added: 03.08.2014 5:13 | 4 views | 0 comments
Remember an old website called Newgrounds? Back before the emergence of youtube, it was the biggest source of watchable content on the web. The fact that you had to download the entire file before you could hit play, or that most videos didnt even have playback controls didn't stop classics like Numa Numa and All Your Base becoming viral sensations that are famous even today. Well, one of the sites more famous and gorier animation series, known simply as Madness or Madness Combat is getting a new videogame, as a proper 3D brawler/shooter thats slightly reminiscent of popular indie titles like Hotline Miami. Check out the (rather violent) trailer for the new game, titled Madness Combat: Project Nexus 2, below:

| World of Tanks: Blitz Review | GIZORAMA

Mariah Beckman, GIZORAMA - "Its probably not fair to you to read my review of World of Tanks: Blitz for iOS. Why? Because I thought Wargamings World of Tanks for Xbox and PC was awesome. Not awesome like COD awesome, or like (old-school Atari) Combat awesome; like Ive-never-played-a-game-quite-like-this-before awesome. On the Xbox, while controls dont always spot on, and while the tanks arewell, tankyslow, clunky and easily killedthe game offers quick turnaround on both consoles and PCs, and the arenas are really genuine. The mobile app, Im happy to say, was just a hint tuitive and easy-to-master, making World of Tanks one of my new favorite mobile games."

We called Godfire: Rise of Prometheus a "clumsy brute" in our review on account of its heavy, repetitive combos. But a free update released today addresses this criticism of ours.
Yep, Vivid Games claims that the so-called Combat Update that arrived today gives the bloodshed a balletic quality. In other words, it makes combat "more dynamic, controls more responsive, animations more fluid, and f...
