| Killzone: Shadow Fall Playstation 4 Review - All Age Gaming
Added: 27.12.2013 13:16 | 4 views | 0 comments
AAG's Tyler writes: "Cards on the table, I never touched Killzone until now. It was a series created by Sony as a direct reaction to the success of Microsofts Halo: Combat Evolved. Three major console releases, all chronicling the epic and original struggle of a fascist military organization against a downtrodden working class fighting back against their oppressors in space. I was uninterested in the series because it looked and sounded like a shallow and juvenile excuse to shoot guns awash in an industry that is flooded with similar experiences. But, to partially justify the purchase of my new Playstation 4, I gave Guerilla games the benefit of the doubt and got acquainted with Killzone: Shadow Fall."

| Knack (PS4) Review Fun, but far from mind-blowing | 2D-X
Added: 22.12.2013 11:16 | 9 views | 0 comments
2D-X - Oftentimes, console launch titles are weak, unexciting, and just ports of existing games. Looking back at all of the console launch titles, I can confidently say that both the Sega Dreamcast (September, 1999), Nintendo Entertainment System (November, 1985), and Atari 7800 (November, 1986) were the rare consoles to have truly strong starting line-ups. Dreamcast unleashed Soulcalibur, NFL 2K, and Sonic Adventure. NES had Excitebike, Ice Climbers, and Super Mario Bros. The 7800 had classic games that we still play today like Asteroids, Galaga, and Ms. Pac-Man. The remaining console launches suffered games that were less-than-memorable third party titles and mediocre exclusives. Sure, Halo: Combat Evolved and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess were fantastic, but other than those titles, these last generations have been very infamous for weak launch line-ups.
