ATXB Review - BioShock Infinite

Added: 31.03.2013 10:18 | 21 views | 0 comments

Words by Jamie Howard Ive never finished the two previous BioShock games, however this wasnt a problem as, much like the Far Cry series, BioShock Infinite has nothing to do with its predecessors (BioShock 1 and 2). This made BioShock Infinite, much easier to jump into as I didnt have to worry about catching up with a story. BioShock Infinite follows the story of protagonist, Booker DeWitt and his mission to retrieve the Lamb of Columbia and future side-kick Elizabeth. Set in the early 1910s, BioShock Infinite takes the player (as DeWitt) to the floating sky-city of Columbia. Hired by mysterious figures, DeWitt is ordered to retrieve a young girl thats been held in a tower high within the cloud-city, to clear him of his debts. As you track down Elizabeth (said young girl), you gradually find out that shes not just any young girl but an extremely powerful tool, in the centre of a civil war raging across Columbia. To complicate matters further, Elizabeths guardian of...

Review: Bioshock Infinite | Xboxer360

Added: 30.03.2013 14:20 | 13 views | 0 comments

Kevin of Xboxer360 writes, "The year is 1912 and New Yorker and former army man Booker DeWitt has amassed a debt that he cant repay. However, if he can travel to the city above the clouds known as Columbia and bring back a young woman named Elizabeth, who has some strange abilities, the debt will be cleared. Though as you can probably guess, it isnt going to be that easy, not by a long shot. To say the story is muddled would be selling it short, its all over the freaking place! There seems to be a multitude of ideas swimming about here vying for defiance. Entire plots rise, take over, then are disregarded, barely to be mentioned again. The most interesting story is the main one; Booker and Elizabeth trying to escape the bizarre city while discovering twists along the way, but for almost half of the game youre forced along on fetch quests and asked to backtrack constantly across the same areas numerous times."

Tackling BioShock Infinite's Bamboozling Ending - Explosion.com

"BioShock Infinite has affected me beyond all doubt. Ive not stopped thinking about it for the past few days those final 17 minutes playing in repeat over and over in my mind like a tear in my brains space-time continuum. This ending, however, is not without its critics. Its a polarizing affair that can strangely offer both a conclusive ending to the tale of Booker DeWitt or a devastating cliff-hanger depending on which way youve interpreted the story thus far..."
