Worth Playing: "Deadpool feels more like a rental than a must-buy title. It's a game that remains true to Deadpool's character, and it shows that High Moon Studios definitely understands what makes the character work. Despite the flashier nature of the combat, the overall experience is quite shallow. There's not enough content to support the repetitive gameplay, and even though the strength of the game comes from Deadpool and the comedy, that still manages to wear thin toward the end of the game. It's definitely something I'd suggest checking out when it goes on sale, but until then, you can hold off on Deadpool."

The entire opening sequence has him milling about his apartment, calling up High Moon Studios president Peter Della Penna along with Nolan North until a script for the Deadpool game arrives at his door. However, the script only makes things more confusing with Deadpool skipping over lines of dialogue until the first mission starts without any context or motivation. This continues throughout the rest of Deadpool. "

Deadpool is the game that Duke Nukem wanted to be; action packed, hilarious, and as erratic as Deadpools personalities. With a great mix of humor, bloodshed, fast paced combat, and customization, the game came out much better than I had personally expected. With that said, the game mixes a pretty generic combat style with an erratically funny, and somewhat confusing story. With the game being as multifaceted and crazy as Deadpool himself, if you love crude humor, jokes that really shouldnt be funny, killing things, and hack n slash combat, then Deadpool is the game for you!
