Arriving as a prequel to Rebellions 2012 release Sniper Elite V2, the latest addition to this series is a major improvement over its predecessors, fixing a lot of the problems and delivering on a stealth experience that the series has always tried to achieve. Though the game isnt without its flaws, these dont impede too much on the fun to be had here, leaving the player with a satisfying, yet short campaign with a healthy slice of replayability.

Sniper Elite 3 represents a great step forward for an under-appreciated franchise. While there are a few things missing, overall the experience is utterly enjoyable, and infinitely replayable.

Mike from Twinfinite writes, "Over the past ten years or so of video games, we have seen a profound evolution in the stealth genre. Games such as Batman: Arkham Asylum and Splinter Cell: Conviction redefined design philosophy to put stealthy gamers into a position of strength rather than weakness. A lesser-known series to emerge from this genre is Sniper Elite. This World War II/Third Person/Stealth/Sniper Simulator franchise has fittingly sneaked on by as a moderate critical success while being very regionally popular. The most recent entry, Sniper Elite III, is now available, so lets take a look and see how well it all works."

Sniper Elite 3 seems like a perfect summer-doldrums game, a guilty pleasure that will keep you occupied while not much else is on the horizon. Wondering which platform should you get it for? You should watch these comparison videos first. There is a clear loser.
