"Nintendo has filed a trademark for Hyrule in Japan on September 8th with filings in Europe and US following this month. Whether this is just Nintendo trying to protect the name remains to be seen, but the company could possibly branch out with future Hyrule themed titles. We wont know for sure until Nintendo announces something."

Sony premiered a new Bloodborne trailer at the 32nd Annual Golden Joystick Awards at London's O2 Arena today. Blending gothic horror, fast-paced offensive combat and RPG customization and progression, the game is being helmed by Demon's Souls and Dark Souls director Hidetaka Miyazaki, although it isn't a sequel to either title. It sees players battling through a 19th century city stricken by a horrific contagion that turns its inhabitants into bloodthirsty monsters. Sony has announced a Bloodborne release date of February 6 in Europe and the US, which is one day after the title launches in Japan.
