Being the landlord (at least a responsible one) of a hybrid commercial/residential isn't easy. Keeping the tenants happy is a constant struggle in itself; to say nothing of the responsibilities of restocking store shelves, cleaning up after the creature that lives in the basement, and fending off incessant monster attacks. But a job's a job. And while the job in-question feels a bit familiar, it doesn't make Freak Tower any less entertaining. |
It's fair to say that we liked last year's . It was a precision-perfect platformer that had something for everyone - speedrunners, collectors, casual players, et al. Now there's a sequel called Mikey Hooks, and while it doesn't does a whole lot new over the original game, you're not going to catch us complaining. |

High School Story, a mobile social/building game, successfully demonstrates how varied and dramatic life can become when you're a secondary school student. |
At first glance, it seems as though Starborn Wanderers has a lot going for it. There's the implication of a large galaxy to explore. Goods can be traded, pirates can be fought, and lots of other space adventure-y stuff can be done. There's even a magic system of sorts. Trouble is, the glue holding all of these elements together is as uninspired as it is dull. |
You know the drill, sergeant: those ruthless worm soldiers have returned in Worms 3, and they're taking to the battlefields at every Beach, Farm, and Sewer in what will undoubtedly become the definitive mobile version of Worms today. And while a few repetitive elements unavoidably manage to set in amidst all of the small-scale carnage, the sprawling arsenal, intriguing advent of trading cards, and healthy multitude of game modes still make this one mobile war you'll be telling your little grandchildren worms about one day. |

Synchronous multiplayer games have long had a love-hate relationship with mobile. While the bulk of successful mobile multiplayer titles have been turn-based, occasional games (such as ) have managed to break free from those confines and find success. Champs: Battlegrounds is the newest game to break free from the turn-based mobile gameplay and offer both real-time multiplayer and a fresh take on the tactical RPG genre. |
