Melvin the moon's buddy Sammy has disappeared! Sammy just so happens to be a star, which is where the game Star Thief gets its name! Combining a little piece of with a sidescrolling platform game, Star Thief keeps things simple while providing a lot of excitement. It's one of those games you just won't be able to put down.

From the minds that brought you comes Quadropus Rampage, an "endless rogue-like brawler" starring an octopus with four arms and his pet starfish Bingo, as the duo undertake an epic and awesome quest to strike down Pete, the wicked God of the Sea.

Thor tends to get a lot of attention, thanks in no small part to his own comic book series, but it's not often that the rest of the Norse clan get to share in that spotlight. Thor: Lord of Storms pulls back the camera a bit to include other notables such as Odin, Freyja, Einherjar warriors and more, as they defend their home from evil in the form of a hero-driven castle defense game.

There's an almost admirably masochistic aura around players who plow through room escape games like 100 Floors or DOOORS. While some of their levels require creative thinking to reach discernible solutions, many end up feeling like a slideshow of designer dream logic mixed with gyroscope gimmickry. Pixel Rooms avoids this pain point by featuring truly intuitive puzzles, but ends too quickly to leave its mark on the genre.

Few names are as synonymous with the hidden object scene as Big Fish Games, so when they have something new up their sleeve, you know it's time to pay attention. And while the upcoming for iPhone and iPad doesn't launch for a little while, two lucky Gamezebo readers will have a chance to jump into the action right now!

Marble shooters are a dime a dozen, but the better ones always stick with you. Case in point: . Sparkle 2 is an example of a similar outing that could coast along on the success of the games that came before it, but it's actually a slick and entertaining alternative that will very easily usurp hours of your time if you're not careful.

When you get right down to it, survival is still a struggle in our seemingly clean, modern world. Sure, our ancestors would become lunch if they couldn't outrun a sabre-tooth tiger, but they didn't have to contend with trains, cars, or dumb dares put forth by their friends. Dumb Ways to Die is an iOS collection of mini-games that reminds us how easy it is to lose a test of strength and speed versus a subway.

9^th Dawn recalls an earlier era of CRPGs when Ultima and Wizardry were king. Its open exploration, freeform questing, and massive amounts of treasures to discover combine to create one of the most ambitious adventures available on mobile devices today. With classic gameplay balanced by modern updates, 9^th Dawn is a sublime treat for both newcomers and nostalgic veterans of the genre.

Pretty much everybody loves superheroes. Well, except for super villains I suppose. About the only thing people love more than talking about their favorite heroes is creating their own. I mean, let's face it: "What's your favorite super power" is a fairly common question in any age group. So along comes Supreme Heroes to give iOS gamers the chance to create their own personal do-gooder with their own look and special abilities. Unfortunately, the experience is rather flat.
