Wargaming.net and MOL Australia to launch monthly World of Tanks tournaments; first event to commence on September 14. 
Wargaming.net has partnered with MOL Australia (MOL) to announce the MOL World of Tanks Monthly Tournaments, hosted by the Electronic Sports League Australia (ESL Australia).
The tournaments will feature on PC, and kick off from September 14. The event will be open to World of Tanks players in the Oceanic region and will be hosted online.
Further details surrounding the tournaments, including registration, dates, and prizes, are to be announced "soon" on the .
MOL Global president for global operations Craig White attributed the initiative to the growth of the eSports community in Australia and New Zealand, saying, "MOL is proud to work with Wargaming and ESL Australia to support the blooming eSports community across the region. World of Tanks is an online multiplayer free-to-play game that sees players battle against one another through the use of armoured tanks. Microsoft to raise Xbox One CPU 150MHz to 1.75GHz; system represents company's largest ever launch. 
Microsoft has revealed a hardware revision to its Xbox One CPU; the system is now in full production ahead of its November launch.
Announced by Xbox chief marketing officer Yusef Mehdi at the Citi Global Technology Conference currently being held in New York, and reported by , Mehdi confirmed that the Xbox One's CPU has been boosted a further 150MHz, raising it from 1.6GHz to 1.75GHz.
Last month, Microsoft corporate vice president Marc Whitten announced that from 800MHz to 853MHz following earlier conservative estimates of the system's capabilities.
Though Medhi declined to narrow down the vague November shipping window for the Xbox One, the executive did say that the machine represents the company's largest projected launch to date. "This will be the biggest launch we've ever done by a wide margin in terms of units shipped at launch," he said.
