Paranerds» Deus Ex: The Fall (PC Video Game Review)

Added: 12.04.2014 11:14 | 9 views | 0 comments

A common accusation when it comes to films is that the director just didnt understand the source material. They just didnt get what made it work, fully comprehend quite how to faithfully adapt certain ideas or even get some basics right. Michael Bays Transformers, Roland Emmerichs Godzilla, Bryan Singers Superman Returns, you can probably name quite a few. Well, now we have the penultimate video game example of this - Deus Ex: The Fall. The developers apparently understood none of the prior games successes, reasons for their acclaim or even the bare basics of how to create a successful game. The only reason it even resembles a true Deus Ex title is thanks to the sheer volume of assets reused from Human Revolution.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II Preview | GIZORAMA

Added: 09.04.2014 19:14 | 5 views | 0 comments

Brandon Koch, GIZORAMA - "We reviewed The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing last summer and mentioned that it was the first part of a planned trilogy. Nearly a year later, the sequel The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II is upon us unlike other planned trilogies that never saw a second game such as Too Human or Advent Rising. This preview is based on an hour-ish-long closed beta build that is missing a few of the big features like Runecrafting, the Chimera pet and multiplayer, so of course, everything mentioned is subject to change. The beta plops players down in the middle of a siege on the Viaduct Junction of Borgova. General Harker, associate of the big baddy defeated in the first game, is leading the troops against Borgova. Van Helsing, of course, is assisting the Commander in defense against Harker, which means a majority of the beta is traveling the streets of a city in the middle of an invasion, avoiding explosions and shrapnel while fighting off the invaders."

Deus Ex: The Fall review | CheatMasters

Avoiderdragon: When Deus Ex: The Fall was announced for iOS, it was like the announcement of The World Ends With You -Live Remix- with an upcoming game being hyped with a countdown, then being announced as a mobile title as Square Enix must have thought that the mobile market is worth releasing games for. It was good as a mobile game though, bringing the look and feel of Deus Ex: Human Revolution for iOS and Android. Now that it has been ported to the PC though, its time for heads to be scratched and faces to be palmed as it is what most would expect from a PC port of a mobile game.
