Push Square: "It's a warm yet rainy evening in New Hampshire, but Michael 'Roughdawg4' Sinclaire is uninterested in the weather. He's got a DualShock 3 controller in hand, and his gaze is fixed on a nearby television screen. White Knight Chronicles, the oft-forgotten PlayStation 3 collaboration between Japan Studio and Level-5, is the focus of his attention. He's working on his 887th Platinum Trophy."

The Arkham series Achilles Heel is longevity

Added: 23.08.2015 18:18 | 8 views | 0 comments

Gamecrate: Developer Rocksteady recently released a new Arkham Insider video for its new-gen Batman finale Batman: Arkham Knight. The video highlights several upcoming DLC additions, including the new race tracks, Batmobile skin and Batman outfit themed around the 1989 Tim Burton Batman films as well as a new AR mission starring Robin. The video does a good job of showcasing what exactly these new DLC additions bring to the table, but it also unintentionally highlights a problem that affects not only Arkham Knight but the entire Arkham series: Rocksteady doesnt seem interested in giving its games any form of long-term replay value.

Gryphon Knight Epic Review | MousenJoypad

Added: 23.08.2015 10:18 | 10 views | 0 comments

Chris Bowie - "Gryphon Knight Epic hides its best parts behind a wall of needlessly difficult gameplay and poor story sections. The knight flies around the screen with his gryphon mount narrowly avoiding dozens of projectiles from a great variety of enemies who all seek to stop him from curing his friends of malevolence. Or he succumbs to the barrage of attacks from a boss before he figures out how to do any damage. Most of the game falls under the latter scenario where trial-and-error gameplay is king and the difficulty is extreme. Without nostalgia or appreciation for the type of bullet-hell shooters that GPE is attempting to mimic, this title is hard to recommend."
