While Bayonetta 2 was highly regarded as another masterpiece of gameplay, Platinums last licensed outing The Legend of Korra received mixed reactions at best. So while I appreciated the G1 influenced looks of the Transformers and was happy that Activision wasnt putting the Transformers license to sleep like it has with Crash Bandicoot, I still didnt expect much from the game itself. Thank the Prime robot heaven gods that Devastation is not a mediocre action game by any means. Instead, we have another contender for near perfect action gameplay, and this time with a clever usage of Transformers most iconic features."

MMOculture: Launching around 2 months ago, MapleStory 2 is Nexon Koreas flagship product for 2015. With much effort placed on the game, including cash prizes for reporting bugs, MapleStory 2 was bound to have big numbers in terms of players and revenue. Nexon Korea Corporation, a subsidiary under Nexon, has just announced that the company will team up with Barunson EA to publish latest 3D RPG Heroes of Incredible Tales(HIT) which previously known as Project HIT. HIT is scheduled to release for iOS and Android late this year in Korea, and English version could be later.

MMOculture: Back in 2014, I attended ChinaJoy 2014 and managed to have a chat with the Director of Overseas Business of South Korea developer, PearlAbyss. I was lucky enough to find out and report that Daum Games, the gaming arm of Korean giant Daum Communications, will not just be publishing Black Desert in South Korea, but for the Western markets (North America and Europe) as well. Fast forward a year later, Daum Games Europe is born, and the team is now working to localize Black Desert for the anxious Western gamers. I managed to get hold of Oli, Community Manager of Daum Games Europe, to find out more about the company, and information about the games progress. Note that I avoided questions related to in-game content, as Black Desert still being worked on.
