Check Out These Epic-Looking Warcraft Movie Props

Added: 10.07.2015 12:19 | 5 views | 0 comments

The Warcraft movie doesn't hit theaters until June 2016, but Legendary Pictures is already starting to ramp up its promotional efforts for the film. This week at Comic-Con, Legendary's booth on the show floor is stuffed with all manner of epic-looking Warcraft movie props.

We caught up with WETA Workshop's Mike Gonzales for a walkthrough of the booth, which includes practical human Alliance armor and gear used in the movie, as well as expertly crafted Orcs, among other things. Watch the video below or scroll to the bottom of this post to see some more images in a gallery.

WETA Workshop is perhaps best known for its award-winning work on Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy. The studio, which also has a digital arm called WETA Digital, has worked on others franchises, too, such as The Hobbit, District 9, Mad Max: Fury Road, and Furious 7.

Meeting the Man Who Made Wander, the Worst Video Game of This Generation

Added: 10.07.2015 6:15 | 5 views | 0 comments

Vice: The game in question is Wander, a combat-free MMO for PlayStation 4 and PC with an average user score of 2.2 on Metacritic. It is, according to a couple of YouTube Let's Players, the worst game of this generation. Search for it on the video-sharing site and you'll find a plethora of clips showcasing debilitating graphical bugs, incredibly awkward communication and generally lamenting how entirely broken the game is. But that's not the whole story. Wander is the brainchild of travel-crazy Australian Loki Davison, and he, alongside a small team, is in no mood to give up on the game. Just like the globetrotting expeditions that have inspired it, Davison is going to continue putting one foot in front of the other until he finds the path to Wander's redemption.

Replay VHS is not Dead A sadistic Caricature of the 90s | Modvive

Added: 10.07.2015 1:15 | 6 views | 0 comments

In this review, Alexx discusses how Replay: VHS is not Dead is a sadistic, yet nostalgic look into 90's culture and puzzle gaming, stating - "Replay: VHS is not Dead is full of 90s nostalgia, wrapped up in a sadistic puzzle platforming package. There are elements of games such as The Lost Vikings, as well as games such as Braid, however the emphasis on precision and the spiking difficulty curve makes this game something that may not be for everyone."
