TR - Luigi's Mansion 2: Dark Moon Review

Added: 14.04.2013 0:18 | 5 views | 0 comments

TR - Poor Luigi has always had to play second-fiddle to you-know-who. Even when he had a chance at his own starring role, 2002s Gamecube launch title, Luigis Mansion, he had his moment in the spotlight spoilt by the brevity of a brilliant but underdeveloped adventure. Now all he can hope for is a supporting part in the next New Super Mario Bros or Mario Kart, or maybe a co-star role in another Super Mario RPG. What does a guy have to do to step out from his brothers shadow?

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon 3DS Review | Negative World

Added: 12.04.2013 20:18 | 15 views | 0 comments

Andrew N from Negative World says: "The original Luigis Mansion was, I believe, the first game that I saw images of for the Nintendo Gamecube. Because this was during a dark age before I discovered video game websites, I didnt really follow the game closely, and for one reason or another I assumed that it was basically just a Mario platformer, but starring Luigi in a mansion for some inexplicable reason. That seemed neat enough to me. Yet that it was not; Luigis Mansion was a different beast entirely. The game released to decent but not amazing reviews, I skipped over it at launch, and when I finally played it a half a year later, my impression of the game was that the reviews were pretty accurate. It was fun for what it was, but it did not stick with me in any lasting way."

Examination of a Character: Wario

Added: 10.04.2013 20:18 | 0 views | 0 comments

Nintendo is known for its memorable characters; the plucky and helpful Mario, his cowardly yet determined brother Luigi, the quiet and heroic Link. But then theres Wario. Within 20 years a character that embodies just about every negative aspect of humanity has become a beloved character with fame almost equal to Mario. So how did a character that started out as an antagonist created in a non-Miyamoto Mario game turn into a Nintendo regular and fan-favorite with more games than Luigi under his belt?

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon Review [Capsule Computers]

Added: 09.04.2013 10:18 | 5 views | 0 comments

Dustin Spencer from Capsule Computers writes: "Luigi has been around for nearly as long as Mario, playing second fiddle to his famed brother. Over ten years ago, Luigi got his time to shine in Luigi's Mansion (I don't count Mario is Missing, if you're wondering). The game is to this day considered to be one of the strongest titles that hit the platform, and has garnered a hungry following that have begged for more for years. That day to feast has come, Luigi fans. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is everything we could have asked for in a sequel, with five mansions to explore, a brand new multiplayer mode, and all of the charms of the original. The question is, can this shunned brother prove himself on a new platform, or does this follow-up prove to be too late to the party?"

oprainfall writes: "This month for Building Character were doing something a bit different. In the wacky spirit of April Fools Day, Building Character will be a bit wacky itself. This edition of Building Character focuses on Luigi, specifically Luigi from the original Luigis Mansion."

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon Review | GameDynamo

Added: 08.04.2013 20:18 | 4 views | 0 comments

GameDynamo - "Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon expands upon the premise and gameplay set down by its 12-year old predecessor. Just like in 2001, Luigi dons a flashlight vacuum in order to suck up pesky ghosts, but this time the mechanics are somewhat beefier. "

Luigi's Mansion 2 Review | GameGrin

The lesser known of the two Italian brothers takes the spotlight as the green-overalled one steps out of the (rather large) shadow of his red-overalled sibling to adventure solo in Luigi's Mansion 2 (also known Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon). In this latest 3DS experience, Luigi will make his way through several ghost infested locales, solving puzzles and battling spirits with little more than a vacuum cleaner and a flashlight.

Luigis Mansion: Dark Moon Review | Gamers Association

"I had a great time with this game and my only complaints werent big. If you liked the previous Luigis Mansion, or are a fan of the types of games Nintendo makes in general, you will definitely have fun with this one. Near the beginning of the game Professor E. Gadd mentions that its been too long since him and Luigi had one of these adventures, and I must say that I agree." - Ridge Dermody
