Bandai Namco, however, wishes instead for its good-looking game to appear to you as total shit. And I am a granter of wishes.

The picture at the top of this post is the end credits rolling by after the end of the RPG mode, which was pretty fun, and also the source of a lot of the "screenshots" you see in that gallery.

So is anyone here actually playing the new Godzilla game? The two versions (PS3 and PS4) sold, like, under 10,000 units apiece in Japan, so I know the market isn't huge. Just wondering what you think of it, if you're playing. Me? Oh, good of you to ask. I'm just finishing up the RPG mode in that Taiko Drum Master Vita game I talked about last week. The fucking thing doesn't let me take my own screenshots, though, so my review is going to be filled with dumb photos from a camera pointed at my Vita. In Bandai Namco would rather have its game presented to you as something that looks like ass, then I suppose that's just the way things have to be. After all, they released Godzilla, didn't they?

There are going to be a lot of references to the plot of Halo 4 in this post, so for those that haven't played 343 Industries' latest instalment in the Halo franchise, I suggest you skip ahead. As far as video game controversies go, the aborted PC release of Warner Bros/Rocksteadys Arkham Knight seems to have blown over rather quickly, relative to most. This does not seem warranted. If you take a step back and look at the facts, its probably the worst game launch since 343 botched Halo: The Master Chief Collection last fall, which is the gold standard for screw-ups when releasing a game.

EB: While meeting with a team of Wargaming personnel at E3 this past June it was clear that among the titles we discussed the Master of Orion reboot was definitely the game they were most excited about, and after seeing it in action during a hands-off demo, I too am looking forward to its release. I had no previous experience with the franchise heading into the demo (didnt even know it is considered to be the Grandfather of the 4X genre), but based on what I saw Ill definitely be joining the legions of Master of Orion fans thanks to its tight focus on the 4X strategy motifs, as well as the modern day visuals and capabilities it offers.
