Many of you might not have heard of a development studio called Spiders Studios. They are relatively small compared to the army sized AAA studios out there, and you might have only played one of their more popular games, Of Orcs and Men. The French studio now wants to step into the spot light with something a little more ambitious, which is there new action RPG called Bound by Flame. Going toe to toe with other similar titles such as Dragons Dogma and Skyrim is no easy task, especially when you dont have the dragons to back you up, but can Bound by Flame hold its own?

They might not be fantastic games, but each one had an interesting setting or concept that could have been great, but was let down by either not meeting the potential, including poor design decisions or clunky mechanics. One thing that did connect them all is that each game was distinguishable as falling into the B movie category, the budget game, featuring issues that you can assume were down to time and money constraints for a project of considerable size. Spiders next game, Bound by Flame, follows a similar issue, along with lacking the imagination that I found was a key attraction in previous titles from the developer, such as Of Orcs and Men."

Men of War: Assault Squad 2 is a Real-Time Strategy game that is a muddy affair, but one that can be incredibly rewarding at the same time. Men of War: Assault Squad 2 isnt your typical cookie cutter RTS game that you may be used to. The game isnt focused on any type of resource management to advance play as no Tiberium, Dilithium, or Gold will be needed. What this means is that you wont be spending most of your time mining minerals or gathering resources to purchase buildings or units, which makes sense as the game is set during World War 2 when SCVs hadnt yet been invented and Orcs have long since been banished beyond the dark portal.
