| Spencer Talks Gears of War On Xbox One: "I Think It Ran Its Course On 360"

Microsoft's Phil Spencer recently discussed the future of the Gears of War franchise and whether or not it will have a home on Xbox One.
Speaking to IGN on the latest episode of Podcast Unlocked, Spencer explained that while the franchise was a huge part of the Xbox 360's lineup, it would need some reworking if it does ever come to the Xbox One, as the series essentially "ran its course on 360."
I want to find a great Gears game. I thought we did a good job with Judgment, but I don't think it hit the level of quality we saw in the previous games. I think review scores showed that. Sales showed that. I really think we need to take a step back with Epic and think abouthellip; I don't want to call it a reboot because I think it's an overused term but think about where that franchise goes and how to expand what it was.

Titanfall will not be making its way to the Playstation 4, leaving Nathan and Joe to question EAs sanity. Finally the show wraps up with some major Star Wars Episode VII news, along with thoughts on the new Captain America and X-men trailers."
