GameZebo: Ill admit I wasnt really expecting much when I first heard that Zynga was coming out with a sequel to their smash mobile phenomenon Draw Something, the hugely accessible turn-based Pictionary game. I mean, besides adding more words, what else could they possibly do to repackage the same simple idea? Well it really shows how much that I know, because not only does Draw Something 2 come equipped with an impressive 5,000 new words, but it also introduces so many fresh and exciting new features that Ive never seen a social game so fitting to earn that rightful sequel designation.

Tom and Tony Cannon know about building communities. Specifically, communities where people compete in games in which characters pummel each other sensless. Now they want to make a game where avatars live together in (relative) harmony. But they say that Stonehearth the city-building game that theyre trying to fund via a just-launched Kickstarter campaign isnt all that far removed from Street Fighter. Seriously.
Maybe you dont know their names. You almost certainly know of what theyve done, though. Heard of EVO, the world-renowned fighting game tournament? They started it with their friends. Ever visited Shoryuken, the leading website for fans of that genre? Its another brainchild of theirs. Remember when all of a sudden playing a fighting game online wasnt a horribly laggy experience? The Cannon-created GGPO middleware was to thank for that.

Zynga, cruising on the highway to BrokeVille, is banking on its newest ripoff of Pictionary to be as wildly popular as the first one. Banking so heavily, in fact, that the company is just shamelessly getting famous people to feign interest on Twitter. Ryan Seacrest: diehard iPhone artist.
Bad news, American 3DS fans. The eShop shelves are practically bare this week.
But it's good news for European gamers: we've got more digital content than our pals across the Atlantic this week.
Now, there's nothing particularly interesting on either online store this week.
But you never know: maybe you'll find something that suits you. Something that suits you a lot.
