NL: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is technically a single-player game, but was often jury-rigged into a multiplayer experience whenever I showed it to a friend. We'd huddle around the SNES, each claiming a character in the party and passing the controller back and forth so we could enter a single attack or item use when it was their turn. Ownership of the third character would often be negotiated and alternated on a round-by-round basis. This was often Geno, because his coolness was way too prolific to fall under the hands of just one player.

Josh from SR writes, "For an expansion it offers a huge amount of content, including the ability to control a buggy, use a crossbow and explore an area bigger than the size of all Dying Light maps combined. Whilst my time with the DLC was short, I did manage to have a little drive around, as well as unleash my crossbow skills on unsuspecting enemies."

HG: When I told Matt that we were going to see a new adventure titled Kathy Rain this Gamescom, he immediately said That must be a detective story, and it was. Kathy Rain is a self-confessed love letter of its lead designer Joel Staaf Hästö to adventure games from the nineties. Actually, it might even be a love letter to the nineties itself, a time which lends itself far better for a good detective story than the world of today. Budding detectives could not look everything up on the Internet, cellphones were a rarity and to go somewhere you mostly used your own navigation skills.
