Released on PC back in January 2013 Strike Suit Zero, even fans of the genre seemed undecided on how to receive this new offering from Born Ready Games. Inspired by games such as Elite, Homeworld and Rogue Leader many hoped that this would be a return to the glory days of space combat and to a certain extent it was, the combat itself was excellent but some found the difficulty level off putting and the mechanics a little clunky. After getting feedback from the PC version the game gets a long overdue console release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the form of the new and improved Strike Suit Zero-Directors Cut.
