While it may sound crass to ogle a game for its sheer size, the first aspect that hits you in the face about The Crew is precisely that. At a glance, Ubisoft's persistent world automobile slugfest just looks like a particularly pretty next-gen arcade that puts a premium on team-based play. But once you spend several minutes at its controls and start tooling about in its gigantic environment you start to realize that The Crew is an open-world beast of monstrous proportions, and a time-sink capable of sapping years from your life.

"This may sound like a stereotypical male, but man, I love explosions. Thankfully, loving explosions wont get me into trouble in a virtual world. If there was one period that promoted the enjoyment of explosions, it was most likely the 80s. We've had a bit of a resurgence with explosive action flicks, with the likes of The Expendables, The A-Team and Predators all tapping into peoples enjoyment of such over-the-top action. The developers at Most Wanted Entertainment seem to be such fans of action and booms, as Thunder Wolves, which sounds like a title ripped straight from the 8-bit era (I cant believe a game didn't exist with this name back then), is nothing but the mayhem of raining down volleys of missiles, rockets and machine gun fire from a helicopter and laughing at the sight of the flames of destruction created to satisfy your pyromaniac tendencies." Multiplayer will be more like single-player. Activities will be all open, and also there will be missions like in single-player, although they will be their own unique story heists set up for people to team up and take down. Some missions, players will be split up and each person has their different roles to play in the set-up, when certain missions go down, you will be competing with other crews who are working on their own agenda. Also some players will be able to choose to play as cops like in GTA IV, and they have to stop the heists and gang wars and various missions from happening. You will also have your own gang-hideouts, which other players will try to take over whenever they want, and you will have to defend them, a bit like turf wars. Other modes like Mafiya Wars will also be fully integrated in to the free roam, where players can choose to compete or just not bother.. there will be Land Grab and Most Wanted type features similar to Red Dead Redemption...
