TSA:
It was a friend of mine that got me into Rust for the first time. He was building a PC and we were looking for good co-op games, and he loves crafting games of the Minecraft/Terraria variety. When he first brought Rust to me, my first thought was ok, this is an Early Access game, so its probably broken. Despite my better judgement, I agreed to plop down the cash for it and we dove in head first.

| Red Goddess Inner World Review | Gaming Nexus

GN:
Red Goddess is unfortunately one of those games that seems like it has tons of potential. A game that you want to love, but all of the problems prevent that from ever happening. There are times when there is plenty of fun, but often times, you are gonna want to smash your controller. It's a real shame because the game has decent platforming and an interesting premise. Platforming can be fun at times, but then it gets annoying. Nothing is more annoying than traversing up a level and falling all the way down due to iffy controls. What it all comes down to is a great game that is sadly ruined by a bunch of technical problems.

It's a week of holidays known as "Obon" in Japan. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday were days off for a lot of people, especially those not in service industries like gas stations and restaurants; those guys were a whole lot more busy instead of less busy. Today and tomorrow will be likewise, as people head back home to their usual commitments.

| Is it time for the Dark Souls universe to burn itself out?

GR:
"When it comes to sequels to games as heady with variables, as dense with buried import as Dark Souls, theres a tendency to not see the wood for the trees - and anybody who has explored Darkroot Garden will know how dangerous a mistake that can be. So far, discussion of Dark Souls 3 has turned on a couple of topics: how it expands and adjusts the franchises legendary combat, and how the mundane details of the plot fit into the existing world. Is that Drangleic Castle in the background during the announcement trailer, or Anor Londo? What exactly does the new weapon stance system bring to PvP, and what are the implications of a shortbow that can be quick-fired in a brawl? "

| Could the 3D platformer make a comeback?
Added: 15.08.2015 7:18 | 4 views | 0 comments
PS4 Attitude: "When I was a kid, by far my favourite video game genre was the 3D platformer. I would happily spend hours exploring the bright, colourful worlds of such titles, blissfully unaware that one day games like these would be on the brink of extinction. However, are things about to change, and how far-fetched is the idea of a 3D platformer renaissance on PlayStation 4?"

Posted by Shereef Morse on Aug 14, 2015 // CEO, TICTOC GAMES:
When we first started working on Adventures of Pip, we knew we had something great but didnt know how we were going to get the game funded and have it see the light of day. We worked on it every chance we got. Marc Gomez (Game Designer) and Cathy Camacho (Senior Producer) were busy with two other projects; Garth Smith (Lead Programmer) would work on the prototype whenever he had downtime. Over time it became clear that without a dedicated team the project would never get done. It would have been a huge shame since it was a problem of finances and not of fun factor.

Mat @ AYMG: "When you hear either the name PlatinumGames or Hideki Kamiya, your first thought is probably action games. You wouldnt be wrong in thinking that either, with the pair producing the likes of Bayonetta and The Wonderful 101, not to mention everything else Platinum have worked on in their 9 year history. So when you hear that the next title from the dynamic duo is more of an RPG than an action game, its rather surprising."
