Review: The Wolf Among Us Episode 5 Cry Wolf - Connected Digital World

Connected Digital World writes: I can honestly say Ive been clapping for some time now since completing the final episode of The Wolf Among Us Cry Wolf. I rarely feel compelled to clapping after films and video games. I must be thoroughly entertained, brought to some kind of tears and/or left wanting whatever type of ending Im left with. Ill put my hands up now and admit that Episode 5 did this and gave me the same closure to the story, content with my decisions throughout and the emotional rollercoaster ride that their previous game The Walking Dead ended on too.

CCC Says: "The final episode of The Wolf Among Us is out and it has taken me on quite the ride and Im not quite sure that the ride is over. Its not really like the end of The Walking Dead: Season 1, in that it doesnt wrap up things in a nice little package for you. Instead, the package it gives you is gnarled and beaten and shredded by tooth and claw, and its contents are barely recognizable, so much so that you need to piece it together one step at a time. By this I mean the ending of The Wolf Among Us provides us more questions than answers, which just serves as fuel to make you go back and play the game again, and again, and again."

'Cry Wolf' does an excellent job of concluding and capping a powerful season. It also managed to instill a much greater desire to replay the whole thing than should be expected. Even after the last episode's thrilling almost rampage, this is the first time the player will bear the full weight of playing as Bigby, which is a job that gets tougher day by day, body by body.
