The Walking Dead Season 2: Episode 3 - In Harm's Way Review (Strategy Informer)

Added: 16.05.2014 17:18 | 2 views | 0 comments

From Strategyinformer.com: "And so we hit the mid-point. As a long-term fan of Telltale (I bought Bone: Out From Boneville when it originally released, and my first professionally written review was of the second episode of Sam Max: Season One) historically I know that in a five-episode season of theirs, the first episode will be very good, the second episode will be a little disappointing, the third and fourth episodes will be amazing, and the fifth will be a cool finale but light on gameplay. Pretty much all their seasons up to and including Walking Dead Season 1 and even The Wolf Among Us so far have followed this pattern, but Walking Dead Season 2 seems to be different. The first episode was a little disappointing, the second episode was amazing, and the third episode? Well, read on".

The Wolf Among Us: Episode 3 - A Crooked Mile Review | NoobFeed

From the review - It's hard to compare The Wolf Among Us to any of Telltale's previous work, however, so far the series is without a doubt one of the studio's best, but not their finest.

Word Roll is a free multiplayer word game with points-stealing and word-locking that's out right now for iPad and iPhone

Word Roll is a free multiplayer word game with points-stealing and word-locking that's out right now for iPad and iPhone There are plenty of asynchronous word games on the App Store, and while Word Roll isn't the finest example of the genre, it's got enough of a twist in its tail to make it worth a look. To all intents and purposes the game is Scrabble, but there's a point nabbing meta-game going on that means you have to think a little more carefully about what you're doing. Using letters from the words y...

Valiant Hearts: The Great War Preview The Woes of WWI [Capsule Computers]

Added: 15.05.2014 15:15 | 0 views | 0 comments

Zac Elawar of Capsule Computers writes: "World War I doesnt get nearly enough attention now thats a strange statement, and those battles that were waged between 1914-1918 should not be trivialised or exploited nor should war in general but the harrowing stories to come out of the conflict deserved to be told in the interest of reflection, perspective, respect for lives lost and why they were sacrificed, and to help us better understand the errors of our ways and how to avoid such breakdowns of civility in the future. Yet it seems World War II alone, with its clearly defined villain in Hitler putting a singular face to evil, consistently piques the interest of people looking for a real-life Good vs Evil story. Instead of retreading such oft-adapted territory, Ubisoft Montpellier aim to tell a respectfully poignant story set against the backdrop of World War I with Valiant Hearts: The Great War, exploring the human element of war and, hopefully, strumming the right chord o...

IMO: Why Warlords of Draenor is a Good Idea Lore-Wise

Added: 15.05.2014 6:14 | 6 views | 0 comments

Most can agree that at this point Blizzard is just attempting to retain its player base, or entice old players, not necessarily trying to bring new players into the mix. Warlords of Draenor is that sentiment in a nutshell, as it doesnt necessarily introduce something new but returns to the lore of the past. Many have complained about Warlords not really getting into new content and bringing Word of Warcraft back to rehashed characters to fuel Chris Metzens infatuation with the orcs. However, I (Andrew Otton) dont think that Warlords of Draenor is necessarily a bad thing lore-wise, and can produce some cool and new things overall.
