We Happy Few Drug Fuelled British Life Simulator

Added: 06.06.2015 22:16 | 40 views | 0 comments

The Developers behind Contrast have recently started a kickstarter for their new title, We Happy Few. It takes place in a sleepy British town in the 1960s called Wellington Wells, its a place where everyone is delusionally happy all the time, courtesy of a drug called Joy that makes you forever happy and forget all bad things that mightve happened to you, like WWII for example. But you dont play as the Wellies, you play as one of the few people not living in this psychedelic paranoia, you play as the downers. Downers dont take these Joy pills and so are not really liked by the Wellies, and by not-like I mean they beat you to death with a shovel.

Magicka 2 Review | NextPowerUp

Added: 05.06.2015 1:16 | 14 views | 0 comments

Developers Pieces Interactive have brought us the second coming of Magicka, with bits of fresh everything, more giblets, shinier graphics and smoother than Vlad's undead bottom. Published by Paradox Interactive, Magicka is possibly most famous for being the most anti-co-op multiplayer co-op game ever devised. Magicka 2 builds on the unsubtle and rather rough foundations of the original, with largely similar mechanics, but a fresh new outlook in a shinier Bitsquid engine. The humour is still there, Vlad is still there, the voiceover for the dialogue is still utterly mystifying, but this time around, not many of the wizards are still there. The key hurdle for Magicka 2 was to build on what Magicka created, but feel fresh and original, as opposed to just a tacked on piece of content. Many might wonder if there's anything different to Magicka 2, whether it's even worth playing after experiencing the first.
