Superannuation tweeted the video game desginer, asking: "Will you have any interesting news to share in the next few weeks?"

He replied: "Probably, yes... at least, I'm working on it."

News: Warcraft movie needs 20 months post-production because of next-gen technology

Added: 07.05.2014 6:11 | 0 views | 0 comments

Some sequences from the movie are "truly on the cutting edge," says Legendary Films CEO.

"There are some sequences and some things that Duncan Jones has done that are truly on the cutting edge," explained Tull. "You want to have plenty of time to make sure that we dial those in. So by the time they get home and set up, it’ll be a little less than two years. It’ll be about 20 months but we really want to take our time and get this right because the technology that’s employed really is some next generation stuff."

The movie, which Tull says isn't going to be your "straightforward fantasy" flick, is scheduled for release in March 2016.

News: No new Need For Speed this year

Added: 07.05.2014 4:43 | 16 views | 0 comments

Need For Speed sitting out 2014 as Ghost prepares for a big 2015 release.

CEO Andrew Wilson explained the decision to skip a release during EA's Q4 earnings call last night, stating: "We also decided not to ship Need for Speed game in FY15. Ghost Games in Gothenburg is working on an innovative new chapter of the storied franchise, and we've planned an extended development window to ensure we're delivering a high-quality experience for Need for Speed players next year."

The extended cycle means that 2014 will be the first year EA has skipped a Need For Speed release since 2001.

"We are already deep in development on our next game and want to...

This puts the console's life-to-date total at 6.17 million units, with software units at 32.28 million units.

"The Wii U hardware still has a negative impact on Nintendo's profits owing mainly to its markdown in the United States and Europe, and unit sales of software, which has high profit margins, did not grow sufficiently," explained Nintendo.

Nintendo later explained its plans to rejuvenate sales of the Wii U, which it confirmed "still faces a challenging sales situation".

"Nintendo will focus on efforts that seek to stimulate the platform," the platform...

Feature: The Worst Video Game Taglines In History

Added: 06.05.2014 12:17 | 2 views | 0 comments

20 years ago Nintendo decided that 1994 was "The Year Of The Cartridge". Far from an internal memo, it was a publicly declared tagline. Here's some other awful marketing decisions throughout the ages.

What the hell does this even mean?! Obviously in an attempt to win over children who hate their parents, EA sought to, you'd imagine, play up how un-PC its survival horror sequel was. Because all mums are super politically correct, as we know.

The main problem, though, is that Dead Space 2 was an 18. And any 18-year old that buys a game to try and piss off their parents has a lot of issues. And probably shouldn't be playing Dead Space 2. And should probably start thinking about moving out…

News: Sci-fi horror title Caffeine gets new Unreal Engine 4 demo

Added: 06.05.2014 10:18 | 0 views | 0 comments

Try the game in its new engine for free.

"At the moment this demo serves as a graphical showcase using the power of Unreal Engine 4, over the coming weeks the demo will be updated to include a larger play area, more story elements and sounds," explained Incandescent Imaging's Dylan Browne.

The demo features the same area as that found in the UE3 demo, but it has been re-designed from the ground up in UE4.
