Hideo Kojima lovingly crafts the Metal Gear Solid games, and thus his name often appears on promotional material and box art. That's started to change with the recent meltdown of Konami, but fans and retailers still know who's largely responsible for the series.
Microsoft's Gamescom 2015 demonstration of Remedy Entertainment's upcoming Xbox One exclusive Quantum Break was one that left a strong impression. Showcasing some of the most impressive visuals seen from a game pre-release, some believed that the only way it could achieve its advanced shader and lighting quality is with a lower 720p resolution. Surprisingly, that doesn't appear so.
PAX Prime is ready to kick off in just three days. While many are excited to get their hands on yet-to-be-released games, the real highlight of the show will be its cast of panels. From the moment the show starts until its doors close, there will be live panels for both people at home and those at the show to enjoy.

Banjo-Kazooie, Starcraft, Half-life, Baldur's Gate, Ocarina of Time, and Metal Gear Solid forever immortalize this year as one of the greatest gaming has ever seen.

With a shallow bench of high-quality exclusives for the PS4, Until Dawn is an impressive entry into the horror genre. The pacing of the narrative is spot on, and even if you wander around an area before heading to a main objective, the story never feels like it drags. Every chapter is comprised of scenarios with a subplot that, although admittedly demented, will have you on your toes the entire time. The emotions come through, the fear comes through, and every character is drawn out to the point that you'll feel engrossed in the moment... even if you donÄ‚Ë€â„Ët want to be.

Last year, Microsoft went big with the incredible . But itÄ‚Ë€â„Ës only the original Gears of War.
