While North America and Europe still wait on Summon Night 5 for PSP and Vita, Bandai Namco has revealed Summon Night 6: Lost Borders for Vita and PS4 as a 2016 release in Japan.
The game takes place in a world called Fillujah, which sounds ballsy considering that a game with "Fallujah" got canceled not long ago. Food falls from the sky in Fillujah, because why the fuck wouldn't it?

The best racing game since Gran Turismo 3.
During the past 10 years no racing franchise has been more impactful in the genre than Forza. When Turn 10 entered the scene it changed the way gamers and developers thought about how racing games should be designed. Its last release, Forza Motorsport 5, was regarded as a half-step toward bringing the franchise to a new generation. With a keener sense of the Xbox One's technology, Turn 10 now looks to finish the job with Forza Motorsport 6.
XSeed Games has released a new trailer for the Vita's upcoming Earth Defense Force 2. Players apparently join a force tasked with the defense of Earth.

Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed that Pikmin 4 is currently in development and the studio is nearing completion on the project.
"It's actually very close to completion," Miyamoto told Eurogamer during an interview back in July, adding, "Pikmin teams are always working on the next one." Then, in a follow-up statement shortly thereafter, Nintendo provided the outlet with the following confirmation: "We can confirm that Pikmin 4 is in development but that is all we can confirm at present."

We have no idea what platform the game is being developed for, but Miyamoto's note that it's nearly complete leads one to believe that it may be out before the Wii U breathes its last breath. Then again, Nintendo could always be considering 3DS or mobile. Rumors also suggest that the NX isn't all too far off, so perhaps it would serve as a launch game for the company's new platform.
This year's Tokyo Game Show is set to be the biggest ever. For the first time in its history, the convention will use the whole of its usual venue, Makuhari Messe. (Usually, a couple of areas are unused or dedicated food courts or merch displays.) It will also feature the biggest list of presenters and titles in over a decade. This could be good or bad.
More than six years of hard work and investment has come down to this week. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain cost Konami more than any other game it has ever funded at over $80 million, and it's demonstrated that it's very concerned as to whether or not it'll get its money back. A lot was riding on this release, and judging by early sales it'll be a big financial gain.
For years, I avoided DLC. The concept is new(ish) and scary to me. In my day, we had these things called "expansion packs," which were huge additions to a game, sold separately for, oh, anywhere from $15-$30. These days, add-ons usually come digitally in the form of

EA Sports has revealed that players can get very involved in the personal lives on NHL players in the upcoming NHL 16. Their actions on and off the ice determine their play styles and performances, continuing to evolve the game's "Live the Life" system.
The Metal Gear series has always been a great example of attention to detail. Metal Gear Solid 2 was one of the first games to have breakable watermelons and meltable ice. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain takes it to a new realm of impressiveness.
Her head might make up 55% of her body's total mass, but the chibi version of Hatsune Miku still provides quality gameplay to those who love rhythm games, as Kevin can attest. While I'm not as into the Project Mirai (3DS) games as the Project Diva titles (PSP, Vita, PS3, soon PS4), Miku is Miku and fun is fun. My own music game of right now is, as you may recall, Persona 4: Dancing All Night. It's just too good.
WhoÄ‚Ë€â„Ëd have thought fake people could put on such a kickass show?
The last time I played one of these, the phrase "pop songs as sung by Siri" popped into my head, which might be a bit harsh but not altogether inaccurate. Hatsune Miku is a series centered around the titular character, who is a popular virtual idol with a completely computerized voice—long neon-blue hair, headphones eternally over her ears, perfectly-choreographed dance moves, the whole nine. And on the 3DS in Project Mirai DX, instead of trying to appear as a 3D anime-styled idol, all of the idols in the package are short, squatter chibi figures that are just adorable.
Metal Gear Solid fans continue to play and enjoy MGSV: The Phantom Pain, but they haven't been getting the full experience. The online features of the game have been conspicuously absent due to sever issues, some of which may continue in the coming weeks.
So, you want to be a real Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain? It isn't easy, but with time and practice you can become the best soldier in the world. Below are tips and tricks to help you along your path. Knock is built into your Bionic Arm
If you've played the series before, you might be wondering how you make a knocking noise to attract foes. While previously it was done by tapping a button while against a wall, now you can do it from any position using the Bionic Arm. All you have to do is open the command menu (L1 on PlayStation), select the option at the top using your right analog stick, and then press down the analog stick (R3 on PlayStation). It'll make a noise that captures the attention of enemies, allowing you to setup distractions and ambushes. It has a specific sound radius, allowing you to capture the attention of only one enemy if you use it in a good location.
