Spotify, the super popular music-streaming service, makes its way to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 today, and for the time being, the app is exclusive to Sony's gaming hardware.
"PlayStation have gaming exclusivity," SCEE UK marketing director Murray Pannell confirmed to Eurogamer at a preview event. When asked whether Spotify will remain exclusive to Sony's platform, Pannell added, "That's to be decided exactly, but certainly for the foreseeable."
A Gears of War game is in development for Xbox One and Black Tusk Studios is responsible for its creation. As such, gamers have been closely following the studio for any shred of information on what's in store for the next entry in Microsoft's super popular third-person shooter franchise.
Axiom Verge, a labor of love from sole designer Thomas Happ, hits all the right genre buttons. It's a game for Metroid-vania fans from someone who clearly understands what the label entails. The Metroid influence in particular stands out, perhaps to the point of distraction, but the wide variety of useful weapons and the game's dissonant world full of (purposeful) glitches give Axiom Verge its own identity.
[Update] Sadly, it looks like The Legend of Zelda for Wii U won't be making an appearance at E3 this year. Series producer Eiji Aonuma confirmed this disheartening reality in a statement on Miiverse:
